No what happened is like with the Hunt Brothers, the individual, who tried to upset the market by taking some 40k contracts in the first delivery day by surprise was pushed into paper delivery.

But for sure, we are getting close to such an event.

Just yesterday in the silver market, short sellers sold a record amount within one hour (at noon) to attempt to trigger a waterfall event (just like 2013) hoping to catch traders when they returned from lunch.

As you can see that did not work either.

So, it’s just a waiting game until the geniuses in charge screw up at some point and the exchange goes force majeure – and then in fact defaults.

It’s just a matter of time.

Likely sooner than later.

Have just been in Switzerland and that is the way everyone is positioned, they all reckon he is a disaster waiting to happen…….to say or think anything else , is way out there…I also think they have been told that is the way to be and yr a brave person who goes the other way…..especially as so many have terminal TDS …..plus if yr wrong, then so is everyone else.

This is why they have run the stock market up now, so they can let it fall into next quarter, creating another source of demand in the bond market.

It’s all about the bonds now with some $8 trillion in rollovers and current deficits needing funding.

So no wonder gold continues to have a strong bid.

Besides Europe wanting war they were going negative on their interest rates last year and might of been another catalyst for gold. Trying to find news.
