Dollar is stronger, rates down 2 bips. Bitcoin bouncing, up $2K. Oil down 1/2%. PM shares steady, no big moves like yesterday yet. Platinum and Palladium are ripping.
Bitcoin came back to $101K from the highs around $111. Crypto hasn’t done much lately while silver soars.
Gold/silver ratio now in the 93 range. With gold doing nothing silver would have to get to $42 for a GSR of 80.
Captain called the follow thru for silver today and so it is. We do have a Jobs Report, but they haven’t been a guaranteed smackdown like they used to be for a few months now. We’ll see how it goes. I’m not sure I trust it this am.

Who remembers Northern Dynasty? I sure do. In terms of investment, it was one of my largest holdings going back to I think 2003. Based on the reco of Jay Taylor, whose newsletter I used to get; it was quite a story. Bought several times through the years and have held through thick and thin. Would be nice if that ship came in, but it’s got a way to go to make me whole; not all of my buys were at 2003 prices 🙁

Well, we held most of the gains, which says a lot about the strength of the paper players at the Crimex, they may not have the ammo they used to. I thought I read something a few months ago about silver supply running short in London, and that coupled with the amount of leveraged paper shorts over there could be a problem.
Still, aside from silver and some of the silver shares, today doesn’t exactly feel like a victory. The large cap gold shares led by NEM look like garbage. Hard to see us launching from here.
