Maddog … I don’t know much about Iran’s remaining capability, just that it’s much less than it was.

The Hormuz Letter
@HormuzLetter
BREAKING: Iran says it has now fully blocked the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, along with the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz, with the next step being strikes on oil, gas and energy infrastructure of US-allied Gulf countries in response to today’s Israeli strikes on the Petrochemical Complex, per a source close to Iran’s Ghalibaf.

I’m surprised the US and Israel aren’t bombing the crap out of Iran this morning! I guess it’s Israel being attacked but not US targets at this time. I just woke up so haven’t seen much so far.

Re Iran

Posted by Maddog @ 9:01 on June 8, 2026

That Hormuz letter, is making far too much of Iran’s capability…..when all this started Iran was sending 100’s of missiles/drones a day…now they are lucky if they get 10 away a day….as soon as a Missile takes off, or even before, the site gets blasted…end of site/launcher.

I seriously doubt they get a penny in Tolls, as every ship will get checked by the US Navy and then how does the money get to them, all foreign banking is shut down, they would have to move the money by van…but from where to where. Meanwhile they have zero other income and Tousi is saying there are no signs of the foreign mercenaries in Iran, which suggests they may have gone back home, due to not being paid.

And now the students are getting back onto the streets…..my guess is the end is coming fast.

Maddog 7:54 The world needs to understand this.

The difference between a Republic and a democracy.

A republic is a representative system where power is held by the people and their elected representatives, governed by a constitution.

A democracy is a broader term for any system where supreme power is vested in the people, which can take the form of direct majority rule or elected representation.
That’s where opening borders bringing in non citizens in  with bribes and mob rule to over whelm the citizens comes in.
Ironically that means the majority groups oppress the minority. That’s what the Democrats are trying to do so it has nothing to do with race it’s a scam to weaponize against the citizens. If for instance another race were Republicans or against communism or Marxism or even against crime  the demos wouldn’t want to let them in.

Nice bounce for the SM – hard to believe it continues to fall for the headlines

Posted by Buygold @ 9:00 on June 8, 2026

I will say, it’s good that Israel hit the petrochemical plant. It seems that the US sort of laid off a lot of those type of installations. That might be what it takes to really end this thing. I don’t know.

Israel won’t stop in Lebanon though and Iran continues to say they will defend it, so I don’t know what’s really changed.

Nice bounce for Bitcoin. No bounce for gold. Typical. Hoping silver bottomed overnight, but hard to see that if gold keeps breaking down.

More like they slow played and dropped him in third place. He will leave the state so he said his kids won’t have to grow up seeing naked zombies in the park and not put another dime in California. lA will go the way of Venezuela if it doesn’t burn down first. The whole state will be affected because Newscum drove the oil companies out. This is also a result of open borders.

You know I heard in one of Armstrong’s videos that Mc Cain was the one bringing up and pushing the climate change. The reason was he was after depleting oil money to weaken Russia, he was another  neocon.

The answer to wha China can  sit back and eat popcorn and watch the events in Iran is in the fact Power generation for their power grid is dependent on oil For 1/10 of 1% of power generation…You’ll have to check it out for yourself because it’s a hard one For me to believe when I heard it…..

I hope I’m wrong about everything brother. I’d like to think Trump is trying to get out of this, but he can’t.

Did the Israeli’s provoke this? I guess that depends on who you ask.

“Iran may be picking up a million or two in tolls here and there but they are losing their ass because of all the oil they haven’t been able to sell.”

True, and it sounds like they dropped their demand to $24 Billion of the $100 billion we’ve had since the 70’s. But now they control the strait and have monetized it. Something they didn’t have before, and that’s not going away if this ends. While they can’t ship and are losing that revenue, they have the world’s oil markets by the scruds which applies pressure on the US and Israel to end this thing.

China and Russia seem content to sit back and watch with popcorn. You’d think China would be putting pressure on Iran because of the oil, but they aren’t Are we to understand that the loss of Venezuelan and Iranian oil isn’t hurting them?

How patient will the Israeli’s be? You know the answer to that.

If Iran is launching 4 waves of ballistic missiles towards Israel then for sure the pressure is on for a wider war. Did Israel provoke this? Trump doesn’t want it to happen and may be butting heads with the Israelis. But how patient are they going to be?

Iran may be picking up a million or two in tolls here and there but they are losing their ass because of all the oil they haven’t been able to sell.

Hope you are wrong about the nuclear thing my friend. Desperate people do desperate things!

Glad to hear of all the Iranians in the streets. That would be great if they could rid their country of the Mullahs before it all gets blown up.

I don’t think their government wants to stop either and there are groups of Jewish not okay with this. There’s also many family members who didn’t get their pictures and videos back that were taken of got their phones back but the videos were erased of the last time their loved ones were alive.

That they were erasing any evidence they were killed by Israel forces and. captured or multi calls for help and not showing up hours before they died. Their safety is not a priority.

Economically by AI
A prolonged war with Iran will trigger an oil shock and severely strain the US economy, leading to persistent inflation, higher interest rates, weakened business confidence, and a heightened risk of recession.
Severe Inflation and High Energy Costs
Disruptions to global energy supplies—especially if conflict threatens the Strait of Hormuz, where roughly 20% of the world’s oil transits—will cause a drastic spike in crude oil and retail gasoline prices. This will also drive up everyday costs for groceries, travel, and heating. Economists project that such supply shocks could push overall US inflation significantly higher.
2. Higher Interest Rates and Borrowing Costs
To combat escalating wartime inflation, the Federal Reserve will likely be forced to maintain or even raise interest rates. This will directly impact consumers through higher borrowing costs for mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards.
3. Consumer Squeeze and Economic Slowdown
As household budgets are stretched thin by high gas and utility bills, Americans will pull back on discretionary spending. This reduction in consumer spending—the primary engine of the US economy—will drag down overall Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth.
4. Business Uncertainty and Stagnant Labor Markets
The uncertainty surrounding a prolonged conflict will cause businesses to adopt a cautious “wait-and-see” approach. Companies will likely reduce investments, freeze hiring, or even lay off workers, which will increase the unemployment rate.
5. Mounting Government Debt
Beyond the economic impacts on civilians, the direct military costs will be immense, running into the billions of dollars per day and costing the US trillions of dollars in long-term spending. This massive surge in government spending will further balloon the national deficit.

BREAKING: Iran’s IRGC is now ready to execute “Operation True Promise 5” against Israel tonight, with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei having authorized the full-scale resumption of war and Iran’s Supreme National Security Council convening an emergency session, saying a “painful and decisive response” will come in response to Beirut strikes, per Iranian state TV. Iran has issued an evacuation warning to all residents in northern Israeli territory to immediately leave, with coordinates of Israeli targets now transferred to missile units.
Trump is no longer in control. He’s trapped in this thing. Not only do we not have the weaponry to supply Israel, but we also don’t have enough to sustain ourselves for as long as it would take. I suspect fuel would be a problem as well.
IMHO – this opens the door to nukes and/or false flag stateside. I just don’t see Israel stopping in Lebanon or anywhere else. I think Iran believes they have the upper hand now. Why wouldn’t they? They are receiving $1.5-$2 million for permits per ship to pass through Hormuz.

Inflation gets kicked in hi gear because of greed and is predictable especially coming from bankers and wall street scams. As long as laws aren’t put in place to prevent these scams like wall street buying up all the housing driving costs up despite  rates, previous  banking refi scams and loans without proof of income, open borders combined   causing panic and Fomo it will continue to go from one extreme to the other.

Go left, raise interest rates, and our debt saturated economy gets obliterated, and we have a strong recession or a depression. Go right, cut rates, and inflation gets kicked into ultra high gear…….

I realize this has been mentioned quite often, but it seems like the volatile war situation has sped this process up, and it’s coming to fruition faster than anticipated.

Yes this computer tech is going to grow and grow as long as the left can’t shut down or extort the energy needed to go with it like Newscum did California. They want to turn it into Venezuela. Energy sources and mining will grow with it. It wouldnt hurt to have a robot around. If you fell down and can’t get back up. Teach them Kung Fu too so if they go for a walk they have a body guard. They have limitless learning but still in the beginning stages. I’m guessing the continuing services sector of tech like energy, communication will be consistent long in the future.
