Nor are the kids being dumbed down. Although the system isn’t coping with their intelligence, they don’t lose IQ. They may seem to have, because academic achievement need bear no relation to intelligence – academic achievement used to be the ability to pass exams (which had some merit, but if they have a good memory a hard working 90IQ can beat a lazy 140IQ) whereas now it is gained by providing an echo chamber to your teacher/lecturer/supervisor’s opinions. Or by paying for your opinions to be published in places like the BMJ.
The article referenced by Hooky is interesting, and reminds me of Dad’s advice when I started learning to drive. “Treat every other driver on the road as an idiot”. It’s not difficult to extend that to people in general. I might have taken him too literally there, as an employer wrote in a reference for me that “… he does not suffer fools gladly.” Please note that Dad was not saying every on the road is an idiot – just that’s the assumption that will keep you alive. Likewise low IQ doesn’t mean they are a fool; a high IQ person who thinks they know everything is one. It’s important to know your limitations! Plenty of advice in Proverbs, including the instruction never to argue with one.
Look up factors that can affect a child IQ or dumb them down. That’s not counting normalizing antisocial behavior, propaganda and chemical injuries like vaccines.
It’s not uncommon for children identified as gifted or with very high IQs to experience a decline in academic performance or struggle with school as they progress through their education. This phenomenon, sometimes referred to as “underachievement” or “regression,” can be attributed to a variety of factors related to the child’s individual needs, the school environment, and the way their intelligence interacts with the educational system.
I used to think that people were pretty smart. Meaning if I were walking down the street, or through a crowded mall, I could be pretty certain that most people I ran into were at a certain level of intelligence.
What do they say? That the average IQ is 100? And when you start getting really low in IQ, the number of people who have that lower IQ gets smaller and fewer in number. It is like the classic bell curve. The middle of the bell curve is the number of people with an IQ of 100; outliers on either side get lower or higher.
That’s what I used to think.
For whatever reason, it felt safer knowing that most people you “saw” were not utter morons. Even if you had interactions with people in stores, or per chance bumping into someone and exchanging words, it was not like you were on some distant planet trying to have a conversation with a humanoid alien (or lizardman) who had zero experience communicating with a real human.
Avery Goodman: China’s new physical gold mandate for insurers will reshape the gold market
China has launched an initiative that is likely to fundamentally alter the global gold market.
Its insurance regulator issued a regulatory directive requiring certain insurance companies to allocate a fixed minimum portion of their huge assets to physical gold. This is unprecedented.
It doesn’t quite take us all the way back to the gold standard at the turn of the 20th century, but it pushes in that direction.
In short, via regulation, China, the second-largest economy, has now created structural demand for gold that will support rising prices and its de-dollarization strategy.
In February 2025 China began a pilot program that allowed selected insurance companies to invest in physical gold. It was a first-time event. It had never been allowed before. The initiative involves 10 major insurers, including PICC Property & Casualty and China Life Insurance. It allows them to allocate up to 1% of their total assets to gold bullion. …
How much can we bet UKs PM and a couple of NATO country’s are ready to sabotage any attempts for peace with Russia.
Now the brown nosing propaganda Putin isn’t going to divide America with Europe. Putin doesn’t have to, Europe is doing that all by themselves while surrendering to their own invaders.
How about America and Trump isn’t gonna fall for the bait and switch and put us in a war they instigated as well as some of the demos during Biden.
The Casio F-91W is the preferred watch of ME terrorists. Cheap at $15. It is easily opened and hacked to provide a timing device for IED explosives! Mine is gold plastic… the expensive $20 model. Terrorists get black ones.
Dominion in Toronto .
The software allowed back door access to the system in 2020 .
However , in that instance there were also paper ballot irregularities .
In some districts more ballots were cast than the number of enrolled voters .
For anyone with a brain , the incompetence of the administration from 2021 to 2024 was in plain view , but many are so wrapped up in their particular obsessions that their biases take over .
Everything is in reverse. What ever people were doing, that they should not be doing, should stop on their own or over time they will automatically get stopped.
I posted that back when Bernie Madoff got caught, and I’ve seen many cases since. I also predicted after 9/11 the the whole system was going to go into reverse.
Maybe that’s a new trend … the demise of green. Nations can’t waste funds on projects which aren’t really economically feasible. Maybe some shorting opportunities. 🙂
In a striking display of public discontent, close to 750,000 people at time of writing have signed an official parliamentary petition demanding an immediate general election in the UK.
