Government Overreach, Local Action, and Real Food Defense | Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms

Joel Salatin is back to share why he’s taking a bold stand against federal overreach—and what really happens when the government comes knocking. From eye-opening bird flu extermination tactics to a surprising call from RFK Jr., Joel breaks down the growing pressure on small farms, who’s profiting, and the natural solutions being ignored. He also challenges the myth of total self-sufficiency and makes a compelling case for building strong, local community ties. Whether you’re in the thick of farming or just passionate about food freedom, this conversation will inspire you to think differently—and take action right where you are!

Go local folks.

Support people who support you.

Illinois Lawmakers Are Attempting to Rush Through a Harmful Tax on Unrealized Gains in 48 Hours

No tax system anywhere in the world has a mark-to-market capital gains tax that captures unrealized gains. Some Illinois lawmakers would like to change that—and they plan to ram the proposal through in less than 48 hours.

Under a proposal called the Extremely High Wealth Mark-to-Market Tax Act, Illinois would impose a 4.95 percent tax on the unrealized gains of all assets, tangible and intangible, of billionaires. That includes their stocks and bonds, but also everything else they own, including their ownership and investment stakes in businesses. Essentially, they would have to pay taxes on the value these assets have on paper, even though that value has not been taken as income.

No more eating crickets in Davos as the global warming hoax falls to the almighty AI data center.

Now that AI needs massive numbers of power plants to be built, they had to let go of “climate change” since it is blocking their path.

“Climate” has always been about the money.

The global warming hoax is “collapsing” as even Bill Gates admits it’s actually not a big deal.

No more eat the bugs for you.

The timing is curious now that Big Tech needs gigawatts of real power for AI data centers.

Serious Trouble at The Royal Mint – UK Bullion Buyers BEWARE!

Orders are being cancelled. Sorry we are cancelling your order. The criminals in charge of your government leased it out long ago.

Nothing surviving this morning. I guess the dollar and bonds have a small bid but nothing to write home about.

SM, Bitcoin, oil all down. Bitcoin down another $2k after a $3k decline yesterday.

Gold still trying to hold $4k, but not likely. Silver below $48 again. Plat and Pall getting hit hard.

As usual though, the worst performers early are the pm shares. Set for another beating. Earnings don’t matter with them, nor do the higher metals.

Brunel – first tunnel under the Thames, London

Posted by Don Michael @ 4:33 on November 4, 2025
The first tunnel under the Thames was the Thames Tunnel, designed by Marc Brunel and his son Isambard. Construction began in 1825, and it was completed in 1843, connecting Rotherhithe and Wapping. Initially opened as a pedestrian walkway and a popular tourist attraction, it was later converted for railway use and now forms part of the London Overground.

the track that Turner painted was completed in the South of England. Railways spread as rapidly in the UK in the first half of the nineteenth century as they did in the US in the second half.

Communications. Always a game changer.

I’m sure many migrants take the Europeans for saps … probably the same in the US. Many people won’t work unless forced to. Some would rather starve to death!

Gotta side with ferrett on this one. Amazing painting and succinctly described.

Another Turner fan here. Love his watercolors as well. An absolute master.

I don’t like muddied, indistinct painting with undefined objects. The ‘light’ thing does nothing for me.

If the painting was not markedly associated with the GWR would anyone have an idea what it represents?

Just shows what a Philistine I am, I just know what I like.

So there’s that.

Neither the dollar or rates show any sign of backing off their trek higher. Course, neither does tech.

ipso, why would they?

Plus, there’s a good chance they would have to work for a woman. Not gonna happen.

Wow, that’s a powerful painting! The use of light, the only crystal clear image being of the stack as it burns its way through the misty rain, the raw power of the epitome of technology … anyone would think it could be a Turner.

I like Turner. And Brunel.

p.s. the viaduct is still the main line of the Western railway, widened now to four tracks. Nobody believed it could be safe because the arches are so flat. It remains the flattest arch bridge ever built, 188 years old.

Yes we need to get everybody here on that train … and get them to tell their family and friends to do the same.

If enough people do this the commies will be stopped in their tracks.

But people are not that smart … which is why a digital gulag might be on the way.

Revelation says it lasts 42 months … a lot of bad things can happen in 42 months … including you losing a great deal of your wealth and freedom.

So act accordingly.

Cheers
