Internet this morning is full of questions; where are the injured, where’s the blood, etc.

Legislation regarding silencers is on the agenda for Nevada, Hildebeast has made anti-gun, anti-silencer pitch already today, using this event as basis.

Yesterday was yet another dark, cold, and wet day here, so it was a real treat to just “ride” in the sun and see all that powerful nature.

Those kids had a trip they will never forget, and the guy who did that video did it just right, without a lot of jumping around and visual exercises.

It was so nice to escape the immediate physical environment and the psychological “doom has arrived, fake news at eleven” one as well.

I don’t have a lot to contribute, so I just stop by every day to see what’s up and to see your train pics.

Thank you for posting that video.  The imbedded video they used for commentary was extremely on point I think.  Amazing fact about amount of bonuses compared to total income of minimum wage earners.

Dore seems to use the term “predatory capitalism” for what  I would call plain old fascism, the linkage of corporation and state. None the less, the broadcast offers some serious discussion of what is going on, which is always welcome.

For profit prisons providing slave labor is right from the Nazi playbook updated to reflect American “values”.

Some of those thoughts I’ve had myself, especially about playing out side after dinner until the streetlights came on, playing with cap guns, and just doing stuff that today would be so non-PC, if not now illegal.  Driving home last evening, I was amazed by the number of people now actually walking around,  and even crossing the street all the while raptly gazing into their palm device.

When before, the world held our attention, now seemingly all the world is somewhere else, only experienced second-hand.

I get the feeling that they would be very happy to crawl right into their little hand-world and leave this one entirely.
