I have been waiting for it to cool off a bit before I take my blanket and bucket of KFC and watch the Laser show & Fireworks. This video does not even come close but gives you an idea to why millions have enjoyed this uniquely southern event.

Ok, Im outta here. Its football season and I am heading to another great Southern tradition, Friday night High School Football! The young man who cuts the yard is the Quarterback at that local high school and I promised him I would be there to watch him play tonight. Mostly, Im hoping to meet his parents and tell them what a great job they are doing raising a hard working and well mannered man. Plus, think its a great way to start the weekend. Best, Farmboy
