Loading ...Not that it is a stable country anyway, and the ayatollahs are inviting interference from outside, because of their outside interference, but Libya and Iraq are complete basket cases. The shah’s regime wasn’t all cuddly bunnies either, though. I guess I’ve argued myself into saying that action needs to be taken to stop the export of islamic terrorism, but I think that should be regarded as a regime removal, not change. Remove the ayatollahs and let the people sort out the alternative themselves. Hopefully they can do that themselves without overt external interventions, because at least they will own the new system.
