Loading ...I have always looked at the shares as having a lot of similarity to metal futures. The value of the stock share is partly based on expectation of future earnings. Future earnings are mostly based on the price of the metal at that time. If you look at the silver futures backwardation, it shows that the metal is needed now not so much in the future.
