Pretty strange day overall. The SM rallied for no reason I could see, unless it was a reaction to the lower inflation numbers. Those numbers should have sent pm’s skyrocketing because of the inevitable rate cutting/money printing adventure that is soon to start. But nooooo!
Ferret – I have come to the conclusion that we are Rome or the “Mystery Babylon” of the Bible. (I don’t expect the real Babylon in Iraq to be revived.) With only a couple exceptions, like immigration and tax policy, Trump is more of the same. The Republicans are in bed with the Demonrats and are plenty happy with the status quo and continued graft of the U.S. taxpayer. They could care less about their constituents or the 80 million voters that entrusted them to change things. Trump can’t even get his nominees appointed thru our corrupt Republican run Senate. No one has been arrested and convicted of anything, because Trump chose a cabinet full of swamp creatures like Susie Wiles and Pam Bondi. Kash Patel was fire and brimstone until he got the job at FBI, and then he turned into a scared kitten. Bongino is probably chewing his arm off watching the clown show at the FBI and DOJ. They’ve done nothing they said they’d do to the swamp because they are all complicit. I expect Bongino to quit soon. The two heroes of the cabinet have been RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard – both former Democrats, but the swamp is too big and overwhelming, RFK Jr. said he would take care of that chemtrail problem, he just can’t do it. The permanent government bureaucrats are the ones who run Rome, and they are just too devious and make too much money giving their buddies contracts and getting kickbacks, to ever change anything. Rome is burning. Trump may have had honorable intentions, but the swamp swallowed them up.
