Sounds like you need a new mechanic or a new car. Maybe get one of those check engine plug in things that can tell you what’s wrong. Also reset it once fixed. Don’t use that Fixd one IMO it requires a app you have to pay for to use. They have some that not only check your car but your battery. Glad you back safe but cars unexpected problems not cool.
You know i decided to get a EBike instead of a scooter for my youngest grandson birthday this last weekend turning 13 and his dad put it together checked it out first. It has cruise control. Who knew but he said it’s dangerous You can slow down and stop but it stays in cruise and take off fast. So he disconnected it cuz he’s too young and seems to be like a dead man’s clutch and could take off on you into traffic maybe. Then he tells me he won’t ride it if he has to wear a helmet. It’s not cool he’ll be made fun of his dad tells me Now even after what happened to his mom on her motorcycle? Plus a trauma nurse said the majority of head trauma cases are the kids and ones not wearing helmets even elderly or disabled scooters or wheel chairs . I told him just tell him no. Don’t care what others think. No helmet no bike he don’t make the rules here parents do. Tell him to blame it on me see what I’ll tell them. So he’s using his helmet. Good bike though has multi speed mountain bike plus electric still pricy at 400 but not 1200 and can do as much or more.
