Since the survey and dosimeters probably too.. still learning lol.. look at the last one on that list, sparing the avalanche effect of every little bit of radiation I figure is usefulness like a first responder and has alarms. Plus over a period of time you can have over time increased chances of getting cancer.

    They are frequently used in portable, handheld survey meters for radiation monitoring.

  • No avalanche effect:
