Loading ...What you say about the shares is exactly what’s happened in this latest quarter. NEM, AEM had great earnings and both were slammed. SSRM and SAND missed big and their shares have been the strongest of the bunch. SAND in particular missed big, estimates were for $.06, they came in at $.01. Now they are a lender, but still ugly and what does that say about the willingness of miners to expand their operations?
The real problem is that the shares get hit even harder if they miss. Talk about a no-win situation. Geesh. You’re right about something else, this has been the case since 2011 – at least. I’d like to think that an influx of volume will remedy this, but it doesn’t appear forthcoming at this point.
