Loading ...ATC had a eye on the aircraft landing but who was watching the Black Hawk in training? Why no response from the helicopter two times from ATC. Who were they communicating with? Why fwiw if they could hear them didn’t ATC tell the helicopter they were ascending right in the path of a descending aircraft and the aircraft if it could ascend seeing a likely impending crash. Saying get behind it wouldn’t make sense if they didn’t know where it was and wouldn’t stop the collision coming at them unless they moved down first or stopped ascending and hovered at least minutes before but likely they didn’t hear it anyways. Where was the military tower? Why would they put departing helicopters next to landing aircraft less instructions to stay low and move away from the path of the passenger aircraft not into them. Did that instructor said to be with two in training have something to do with it and distracting them? Still why no one watching them especially at night. 16 body’s recovered no mention of survivors. Landed in 7 ft of water so if they didn’t get out immediately with the jet broke in two with water rushing in and not knowing their way around in the dark and the helicopter upside down combined with cold water hours later doesn’t sound good for any survivors. Sounds like surprisingly this time it might be the Army that has some explaining to do. Why couldn’t they even hear the ATC and who were they communicating with?
