7.20 am–with comex gold down 4.00 & the $ index up .390 , pre-mkt.-Jnug is up 5 cents and GDX up 2-no big deal…not very predictive….but is DOES show that gold has a bid….in days of yore, gold would have been down 8 or 10 bucks….resilience is fine and dandy but it doesn’t pay the Vig…nor the rent. It looks like gold is back in Purgatory for the indefinite future. I guess the next event that MAY move gold is the election.
