If he can cast far enough he can hook on to something and pull himself to shore. If he can’t, if theres wind he can stand up open his coat and make like a sail. If he’s strong enough he can break off one of those seats and use it for a oar. If none of that works he’ll have to unload his coat and shoes and keep his pants for a emergency life jacket if currents strong or water too cold any hypothermia and swim for it. But if he’s a elitist he probably useless wouldn’t think or be able to do any of that so just label Karma.
