Loading ...like you we are in the ‘burbs and can’t really move back to the country. We use a 2kW inverter running off the little diesel car at 1,100 rpm, powers the lights, internet, TV and fridge. Wood stove if we need heating, and BBQ/camping gear for cooking. The car uses about 5 litres per 15hr day.
