Loading ...Btw although I hate to see those pennies go as it taught children how to save and a useful cover for more valuable things knowing thieves looking for bigger things will bypass them. For instance going to the ocean I removed my diamond earrings years back. I put them under some pennies I had in a cubby space in my car. I left them there. Days later my car was stolen. I got my car back but everything in it like camping gear water packets and mountain house type food bars for emergencies ect gone. They tore up the steering wheel to start the car. But the pennies untouched and earrings still there. Also traveling you could burry smaller gold coins under the pennies.easily for emergencies especially these days if going to Europe. Surprisingly theres a lot of pennies most don’t know are worth more than a penny even if not all copper. If they checked eBay they would see that they may have had a bit of cash in those pennies they had put aside. I don’t like to assume anything as you could be at least 50 percent wrong but likely over time they will become worth more when you can only buy them to get them. Plus I didn’t see they were canceled as redeemable just no longer minted. Plus you never know if you might need zinc.
It’s also good to know that Trump is looking around to stop any waistful spending.
