Yes I did know cars are exempt from CGT….only problem is the 2nd hand/classic car mkt is very weak right now…so no worries about CGT….I just need more space….Great car that TR6….and I bet that merc is still a fine motor…that was when Merc made cars that went forever….I remember being in a Merc saloon that had over 200,000 miles, but had been maintained by the factory that owned it and it was like a new car.
