I knew this with wild rabbits but not sure with prairie dogs so asked the computer. It’s the same though in case you catch anymore. Careful handling especially if they have fleas and check the liver.
- Enlargement: The liver, along with the spleen and lymph nodes, is often enlarged due to bacterial proliferation.
- Widespread necrosis: The plague bacterium can cause extensive death of tissue (necrosis) in the liver. This can appear as multifocal, scattered areas of dead tissue.
- Hemorrhage: Widespread, disseminated hemorrhaging can occur in the liver and other organs in more severe, septicemic cases of plague. These lesions can appear as ecchymotic or map-like patches of bleeding.
- Bacterial foci: The liver may contain small, fibrinosuppurative foci (spots of pus and fibrin) that indicate the spread of the infection.
- Vascular thrombi: Microscopic examination of tissue may reveal thrombi (blood clots) containing bacteria in numerous blood vessels throughout organs, including the liver.

You should hear the story about gophers or something SNG killed when he was young. Someone offer him something like 10 cents a tail for them. Talking about a Holocaust! Really!! I’ve heard of using nails on a sling shot to fire a bullet but never plain rubber sending it off and even then didn’t know how safe it was. I’ll pass that on to Shooting Star is her handle. Sound like that meat needs to be marinated or something but it’s protein.

yep, buckshot. readily available, cheap, and most of all, consistent. #4 buckshot is a 0.24 inch round lead ball. with a wrist rocket, it’s only a little less powerful than a .22 – plenty for small game.
prairie dog? nothing special, a little chewy. mostly tasted like the salt pepper, and garlic it was cooked with.

Buckshot!?! Really !?!.Not contained in a calendar what sparked the energy and no BBs flying everywhere? That would save on buying a hunting rifle. I never had prairie dogs before. What does it taste like. It’s good you taught him survival skills young. But buckshot with A sling shot?

my son has loved to hunt from an early age. i got him a “wrist rocket” sling shot and supplied him with #4 buckshot from a hardware store that carried reloading supplies. he became quite skilled. one of my favorite memories is of his bagging a prairie dog at a viewpoint in a national park in wyoming. a tour bus load of blue haired birdwatchers was not amused. we had grilled prairie dog instead of bacon with the scrambled eggs at the campfire the next morning.

Clearly the LBMA is in default. There’s no silver. The only thing that resolves that issue is a higher price.
I’m not sure how the silver shares are valued right now, but they probably should be even higher than they are. Gold shares too.
The dollar is moving higher and even that doesn’t matter.
This is what finally happens to corrupt paper markets. I never thought we’d see it.

Investors are waking up to some major news from China:
The entire tariff crash on October 10th may have just been one big misunderstanding between Trump and Xi.
The news about China’s rare earth export controls came out on October 9th at ~8:30 am ET, 26 hours BEFORE Trump posted about it.
This was a non-news event UNTIL President Trump posted about it over one day later.
Last night, China released a statement clarifying their “export controls” on rare earths.
In their response, China said the new controls are NOT a full export ban and applications that “meet regulations” will be approved.
Amid the market’s downturn on Friday, our view was that the 100% tariff announcement by Trump was a bargaining chip.
After China’s statement last night, we believe the odds of Trump’s 100% tariff on China going into effect are extremely low.
The largest crypto liquidation in history and a -$2.5 trillion loss of S&P 500 market cap appears to have been driven by one big misunderstanding.
We expect another “trade deal” soon.

She’s thinking about a metal sling shot with metal balls. Actually that’s a good idea. If your wife gets a prowler or a pervert flasher in her yard she could have fun with that.
