Mrs F keeps asking why gold is still a good bet, having risen so much. I say that nothing has changed. America is still spending like a drunken sailor, and really weird people are actually lending the drunken sailor more money to spend. Plus a quarter of the extra money they lend to him each year, he immediately pays back to them as interest. So even if rates don’t fall, the US economy is toast with govt. borrowing increasing 10% a year. If rates do fall, corporate and individual borrowing will balloon (that’s the whole intention of lowering rates) and inflation will continue upwards.

There is no way out.

I note that Kash Patel seems quite cautious. He’s confirmed that Tyson’s DNA is on the weapon and the towel, and that Tyson had “expressed an interest” in killing Kirk. However, Patel hasn’t said he’s the killer, and having effectively turned himself in, Tyson isn’t co-operating. The first long distance video of the guy on the roof (supposedly Tyson) shows him leaping up and running, not leaping up and stuffing a rifle and scope down his pants. Personally, I can’t imagine jumping off a roof with a rifle preventing me from absorbing impact, and it was quite a drop.

I find it hard to believe the Fed will cut rates, because they used to raise the rates to hold gold down. The stock market and gold and Silver markets have been rising because everybody assumes there will be a cut.

On Wednesday, If the Fed does not cut rates, I think there would be a strong correction. If the do lower rates the markets will continue higher as people dump their Fed Res Notes, pretty much on anything.

This is more than I want to think about but look at Charlie’s shirt too when he was shot. It looked like the bullet  quickly went through him  from perhaps muscle spasms from his right side to his left.

That other video where that special ops explained from a downward path the bullet likely moved from his neck across the back of his neck to his right side then down possibly through his heart. I’m not sure if he assumed those bone crushing bullets would bounce around like that but soon as it went across his spine everything below it would of been paralyzed, even his ability to breath on his own and you can see he took a breath and put his arm up in a defensive reaction just before he went unconscious. If he was bleeding out like they said from a cut artery his heart was still beating

It may have appeared his left side you saw but turn yourself around facing the crowd. It was his right side and the alleged shooter was also on the right of him.

Its not very likely that somebody with their back to the audience, shot Kirk on the left side of his neck, he would be seen.

$800 Gold in 1980, times ten at least, would be $8,000 today. Going back to 1970 many things are times 15 and 20 mostly. Gasoline is under priced it used to be about .25 cents tomes 20 it should be $5/gallon. So it only went times ten.

A $2500 new car in 1970 times 20 is $50,000 today. A slice of pizza and a coke used to be .25 cents now its near $5. The old $130/mo apartment today should be $2600/mo.

You have a good point but needless your talking milliseconds and everyone else reacted but that guy in the red hat, nothing and did you see the expression on his face, the woman standing next to him was hard to make out and dressed in away covering her face. The CIA can change their looks and appearance including masks. If that’s who was around that guy with a hand gun if that’s what it was had a silencer he would not worry about being seen, just a good shot. It looked like that’s what he was pointing at him but only other common  explanation would of been a camera but they don’t generally hold it like that and check to see if it’s aligned with what they’re filming and phones more at eye level for same reason. Plus they can disguise weapons too. I had a really hard time turning down a one 22 bullet gun that looked like a pen for concealed protection if jogging from a guy I was dating that came from the FBI years ago, only reason I mention it as many years back.

Yes I would see it as a triple top breakdown possibly worse than a double top. Because the first high was in 1980 I didn’t want to have to explain that when the chart you could see the 2011 and not everyone might know that or what I meant.

If sound travels at 1,096 feet per second, and the bullet at 2,700 FPS, he never heard the gun go off. I myself have heard bullets going thru the trees, and then later I hear the bang.

This won’t matter if general liquidity conditions tighten this week with a rise in the yield curve etc. (because of Fed policy change) … but it’s an indication they are running out of gold … which will likely matter in a positive way for pricing before too long.

NEM was down 1.5 % or so, as was ABX….on the opening…..as someone tried to waterfall the shares….and keep their shorts looking vaguely alive…but now the mkt is saying thankyou…any more……

Doesn’t matter really. I’d be beyond amazed if we went straight there.
