Loading ...this time though gold has decided it wants to play too. Gold up $57 and blowing past $3800. Silver still leading, up $.94 and taking out $47.
What happens if we start getting $100-200 moves up in gold?
Platinum is up near 3%, Palladium up over 2% as well.
I suspect one of these overnight moves will be reversed and that will be the end of the rally for a while, but no idea when that happens.
Here’s the real kicker though. Aluminum is up over 34%, copper is up almost 2%, and nickel up near 1%.
No idea what’s going on in the aluminum market, but that would indicate to me something has broken.
The energy markets are down, and agriculture is flat.
The dollar and rates are down. Has the great inflation begun?
