I’m surprised the pm shares are holding up today with only a few exceptions given the metals are sort of tired.

I know BHP and RIO don’t necessarily react to the pm prices, but they can’t be hurting them.

Need more help to get going local …

Belgian Wind Project Vetoed; Global Total Of Renewable Rejections Hits 1,104

Introducing a new, consolidated format for the Renewable Rejection Database, plus a refreshed RobertBryce.com

The global backlash against battery, solar, and wind energy projects keeps growing.

Among the most notable was the rejection of a wind project in Belgium, near the West Flanders town of Loppem. According to a September 1 article in BrusselsMorning, the project, which included a single turbine 200 meters high, “was cancelled after 882 resident objections, municipal opposition, and heritage concerns.”

The article continued, saying that the nearby town of Zedelgem (population: 22,800) opposed the wind turbine because of “noise pollution and shadow flicker present a danger to a residential area located within 400 meters of the nearby site. The environmental permit application also neglected to mention the surrounding green space and cultural heritage due to the presence of Loppem Castle, a significant heritage property.”

The cancellation is the second veto of a wind project in Belgium in the past two years. It is also the 584th rejection or restriction of wind energy in the newly consolidated Renewable Rejection Database, which now contains 1,104 rejections or restrictions of battery, solar, and wind projects around the world since 2003. In addition to the wind rejections, there have been 448 rejections of solar and 72 rejections of battery projects. And remember, those are minimum numbers.

If you need help getting going – going local – here is a good place to start.

Money well spent supporting those who support you.

Cheers all

I saw two headlines that may have some impact on BHP lagging here……

1) Contemporary Amperex Technology just restarted production at its major Chinese lithium mine.

2) The Federal Court of Australia denied BHP’s request to delay pay increases, leading to about 1,800 WorkPac employees, including mine workers, receiving overdue raises.

up 4%? Nice.

They tried to take a run at silver but we’ve beaten them back so far.

I’m a little surprised that some of the uber large cap miners haven’t participated, like RIO and BHP. I know copper is their main product but they also pull in some of the other metals. If anyone has insight, I’d love to hear it.

Unbelievable strength. New highs: NEM, GFI, B (again), KGC (again), SSRM, AEM, HL (again)

Every dip must be bought.

Looks like we run up into the Fed meeting.

Inflation is falling if the numbers are to be believed, but the economy is also slowing. Starting to see car deals, i.e. Toyota dealer has no interest, no payments for the first 3 months, 3 year financing. Haven’t seen that in a while.

Only in California … last year California fined Valero $82 million for air quality violations at their refinery. Valero told California it is unprofitable, will shutdown.

Now California is negotiating to subsidize the refinery for up to $200 million.

Thank you for your positive “vibes” this morning. I, myself, tend to venture down the negative rabbit hole, at times, but thankfully my wife usually pulls me out with her glass “half full” mentality.

The cool aid drinking lunatics certainly make it challenging to remain positive these days, but personal introspection and faith helps as well.

This problem is only going to get worse as country’s economies deteriorate and the metals go higher!

I agree on those scriptures. Netanyahu sure seems to be doing whatever he thinks is right in his own sight.

Sure feels like something is coming, no doubt it includes your passages in Isaiah and Ezekiel.

I guess we always kind of knew that when pm’s got going that the world would be getting dark.

Back on the horse?

Posted by Buygold @ 6:35 on September 10, 2025

It’s still early but things look positive this am. Nothing crazy and the dollar is flat as the 10 yr. is up 1 bip.

SM is either side of flat. Oil and crypto are up just under 1%. PM shares are modestly higher but both metals and shares have gained steam in the last hour and silver is back above $41.

The eco data is the PPI today. I expect the real action begins with those numbers.

Long way to go and the dollar appears to be gaining strength.

Have neither of you heard about any of the HUNDREDS of positive things Donald Trump has accomplished?

The enormous positive things he has allowed and facilitated RFK Jr., Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, and many others to accomplish?

And the incredible positive changes in the DOJ, DHS, FDA, CDC, Social Security, Medicaid, ICE, numerous universities, crime-ridden cities, transgender abuse of children, awareness of the corruption of so many judges, HUD, Department of Education, foreign ‘aid’, the military, border security, gang warfare, vaccination awareness, food industry awareness, Hollywood brainwashing and degeneracy, corruption of the mainstream and social media in controlling information, toxicity of chemical fluoride in water systems, natural health solutions awareness, etc., etc. that he has facilitated and accomplished?

Not to mention the incredible exposure of the extent of human trafficking and abuse that has been going on world-wide for at least decades, and the extensive systemic corruption facilitating it.

Trump’s positive impact on our country and the world, in an extremely short historical time, is unfathomable. Any one of his facilitations and accomplishments is more than any other administration in history. JFK did try to expose a few things in his short presidency.

Is everything fixed? No. But at least now a lot of people have an inkling of the depravity of what has been going on in this world. Until the last several years 99.9% (at least) of people had no idea and were completely blind to any of the real truth. Yes, some saw bits and pieces but were in denial of the extensiveness and purposefullness of it all.

With all this exposure and information at least now there is some possibility of true improvement in human existence, I hope and believe.

Or maybe its too late. But we don’t need more fear and negativity – those exist in the realm of evil.

We didn’t even get tropical storm watch as it veered north of the islands.  I got 0.4 inch of rain last night with no wind.   But the storm surf is up on the north and east shores!
