So do you think that video was fake? It did seem a little strange how he kept looking in different directions. The info sounded right to me.
Big miss
22K vs. the 77K expected.
Off to the races, dollar getting hammered, rates down to 4.09%.
Hopefully rates go a lot lower and pm’s go to the moon!
All that being said, we’ve seen these number related moves reversed plenty of times and we are already overbought.
Caution might be warranted here. I hope not.
Maddog – agree
There have been a lot of calls for a SM crash that never comes – outside the Covid crash in 2020. I don’t see any reason for it to crash if the currency continues to lose buying power, the money has to go somewhere. The only difference is that it seems they’ve lost the ability to manipulate the metals as much as they used to.
Looks like we’re off to the races. Numbers must have been weak. Raging bull. 😁😳

If rates hang around here, or ease some more, then the great EU panic, may have been stifled…..for a while at least

Re Hunter…Tks v much ….v good love his numbers….but they suit my Book, big time…..
Interesting he sees no SM bust in near future, that is what the Russell indicator is still saying…..that is an indicator created by Richard Russell, one of the greatest TA experts of all time…it has basically never given a major sell signal since the 2008 Lows…..
Jobs day
The lead up to the big number has the dollar lower, rates down at 4.15%, oil down 1%, SM futures up some led by tech, and Bitcoin up 1.5%.
The forecast calls for 77K jobs. I’m not sure if the outcome for pm’s is already planned regardless of the numbers. It was that way for a decade, but this is a different pm market, so we’ll see.
As of now pm’s are flat and shares are up a little. I guess we’ll find out in an hour or so.

Up late shopping for some pieces for a new room since going up in and down stairs is in hazardous to my health. I gifted my son in law with a Milwaukee set of tools for helping me. He checked with his contractor brother on it and he got all happy and said his brother said he’s jealous, they’re top of the line. I don’t know one tool by name from the other pretty much but I know Milwaukee makes good tools, and motorcycles too. I almost signed off but decided to check the PMs. Even though I’m only in phyzz right now. Must be a addiction. So your grew up around the trains.
Anyways I got both my grandsons in used but good running cars for just that reason, traffic is really bad here. I wanted to make sure they didn’t get a car that would die on the Fwy. Not the only cause of accidents but that video is exactly why. Kids aren’t safe riding bikes around either like they pretty much could once. Neither are seniors in electric scooters. A trauma nurse said they should be wearing helmets, they’re getting hit too. My 16 yr old step granddaughter was taking her ebike to school and riding over a tight overpass. I told her I’ll get it for her birthday but has to promise me she gets on the side walk and don’t ride that street walk across. Even if you ride across the sidewalk if no one’s on it. Well luckily she didn’t but when crossing over it at the point traffic merged right into the Fwy they hit her bike spraining her wrist when it knocked it out of her hand. If shed been on that street could of been worse. No more riding her bike to school. No way to avoid that overpass.
I’ve seen it too and when I was still in LA I took it up on myself after a cop sped past me to play cop knowing they would probably happen and turned on my emergency lights and started doing the cops round robin doing S s and slowing down the traffic coming behind me. I didn’t know if I was gonna get a ticket for driving like that but I think they knew what I was doing. Californians are notorious for driving too fast in bad weather and knowing that having to drive home at night from work in heavy fog where you can barley see 3 ft in front of you was out right scary. I thought about getting a motel once over it after I heard from another nurse his this big truck didn’t see thie driver who happened to be a jewelry salesman with big bucks of jewelry on him at the time got squished between the cement barrier and the truck who didn’t see him. They found his decapitated head on the dash board. It would help if they could do something.

Seems like the Rock Island ran a lot of dirty, junky looking power. The yellow unit was bought from the Union Pacific, and they never got around to repainting it, other than putting a ‘Rock Island’ sticker on the front.
By all accounts from the employees and passengers, ‘the Rock’ was a fine company that took care of it’s people.
Silver on the tracks?! Shame on you! LOL We only did pennies. I had the C&NW north branch in Wisconsin just a block from my house growing up there.
Hi Maya
I liked the Rock Island photo in Chicago. I grew up in Peoria, in a house along the Rock Island rails. I smashed alot of Eagle Eye’s junk silver coins on the tracks stupidly as a kid. I was too young to have seen that train, but I went to UIC in the windy city. That was a cool photo you posted.

“Emergency light might have helped”. People are mezmerized stupid in their cars. I saw the New Jersey Turnpike in the 70s had large, programmable neon signs on overpasses that could be turned on and programmed by troopers from their cars. The signs could reduce speed limits, warn of Fog, Rain, accidents, traffic stoppages, etc. So the fog rolls in, speed limits reduced, and people ignore the signs and plow into an accident at 70mph. Even with the ‘Accident Ahead’ sign flashing… the pileup continues for miles as people ignore the warnings. Unbelievable herd stupidity. I’ve seen it.
Yes he’s smart
But this is nothing but the power of AI. So be careful Mr. Copper
