Loading ...Seems like the Rock Island ran a lot of dirty, junky looking power. The yellow unit was bought from the Union Pacific, and they never got around to repainting it, other than putting a ‘Rock Island’ sticker on the front.
By all accounts from the employees and passengers, ‘the Rock’ was a fine company that took care of it’s people.
