The Hungarians I knew were escaping the Nazis. Family’s being shot at they could hear children crying and one I met as a student nurse yrs ago same. The Nazis shooting at him and others as they were swimming across a river and when he got on the other side he flipped them off and got out.

Is this THE surge to $3500 ?
Aren’t we supposed to be out of oil by now?

Russia has discovered the biggest oil field in history in the Antarctic Weddell Sea, a field is estimated to hold 511 billion barrels, double Saudi Arabia’s reserves & more than 10 times North Sea output for 50 years. It’s a game changer for global energy.
IPSO , you are correct , unnecessarily cruel .
In 1956 , refugees from Hungary were flooding into Canada . My parents took in six . Some took meals at our table ( paid by the government until they found work , I believe ) . I remember one , older than most , who took pleasure telling us one evening at dinner , that he had slit the throat of a Russian soldier border guard from behind , to escape . I found it ghoulish that the memory made him happy .

rising demand from tech and solar,
limited ability to upgrade supply,
huge shorts in futures markets…
…if (when?) even a small portion of the shorts decide to cut their losses and cover, it could trigger a short squeeze of biblical proportions.
we live in interesting times.
…got physical?
Looks like the funds
want to show they have the pm sector in their portfolio’s.
Good early volume and with the SM down.
Keep that bull rollin’ folks!
Numbers appear to have been friendly
or at least not a good reason to pile on with the selling.
ferret – good point
The only things that will be safe are those things you can touch or hold in your hands.
Live by tech, die by tech.
Sell em’ to close the month
Not just pm’s but everything at the moment. Not terrible for the SM and pm’s yet, but crypto in particular is getting pounded.
Oil hanging out around $64
Dollar up a little, rates up near 2 bips but still down on the week. We’ll see how they look after the PCE’s come out in a couple of hours.
September’s have usually not been kind to the SM, although I wonder how pm’s will react if the SM takes a header. Maybe it will be different this time.

I understand. It sounds like you are in a deteriorating ‘no win’ situation. You have my prayers and best wishes for the best outcome.
It surely can’t be too long
before the so-called AI manages to crack various ways of infiltrating crypto security. Whether it’s the exchanges or the blockchain itself, or short-cutting mining methods to grab the remaining bitcoin, the rewards have got to be enticing for the crims.

THE BATTLE FOR HILL THIRTY NINE

You have to realize though it’s not one size fits all. That’s another thing nor are the replacements lol I’d be off balance and I already have trouble with balance. In your case you still have your balance, strength in the other leg to compensate and upper arm strength. The CMT has hit my forearms, hands and fingers too. I can push but can’t pull myself up and grip is a bit weaker but also unpredictable, stress from pulling upward and it can just release like it did on the stairs once. Once I could climb rope for fun no mas. I don’t have much strengths maybe a second or two, to support my other leg with one. Plus you didn’t have to walk up and down stairs. My rehab could be longer and some of these places they send you depending aren’t good. If I figure things out I’ll have to stay down stairs, so people are willing to donate their time to build me a structure down stairs which is really nice as long as I can buy the supplies.

They could have just shot her. What they did was rather barbaric.
I think there must have been more to the story. There were many French women, prostitutes etc who “gave their favors” to German troops and they weren’t killed at the end of the war. Whipped, shorn of their hair, ostracized perhaps but not killed in general. Perhaps she gave information as well …

Maddog re:rats
I lived for three years in Brussels in the late 1970’s ( nuke power , Westinghouse ) , but on weekends had church assignmennts in various cities in that region of Belgium.
I met an old man on one assignment near the French border who was in the anti-Nazi underground , and to punish a female who had given her favors to German troops , they took her to the woods , tied her down , put a large church bell on her bare stomach and a large rat under the bell .
It ate its way out ! He relished telling the story . I had a hard time eating my lunch that day .
Nae baaad…as they say in Scotland
Though someone is sitting on the shares……Gold is on target for a new record monthly close and a bull breakout….anyone shorting PM shares here has a death wish.
