Reporting earnings and a loss. Pretty tough when they’re losing money with a realized avg. sales price of $32.95 an oz.
Shares getting punched in the mouth for 6% pre-market.
Not one I own now, but have off and on for years. Maybe they’ll do better with avg. sales price at $38-40?
AG seems to be dropping with it in sympathy. They should be reporting soon.
Silver on the move
Looks like the folks that bought some shares at the end of the day were tipped off. Always seems to happen. Imagine having winning trades every day for months on end like the Goldman’s of the world.
Anyhoo, dollar taking a good hit, rates down a couple bips, SM futures up as always, Bitcoin and oil flattish.
Silver up $.62, marching toward $40. Gold up $16, holding the $3350 level which seems to have become important.
PM shares very solid, a lot of silvers I watch are up 2% pre market. Gold’s firm but not as hearty.
Looks like a big day ahead unless the PPI numbers decide to piss in the Cheerios.
Goldie – tough to get too bearish on the metals here, especially with the shares confirming the move higher.
