Maybe filter windows too but after a bad quake wasn’t a fan of putting things like beds by window and use thick double curtains with the out side light see through for the day. That would help in blasts for risks of being impaled by glass too. It saved my daughter when she was a baby when a child ran to house with a crazy druggie boyfriend was after her 6 yr old child all bruised and while mother was in the hospital and child was running for his life. I grabbed a butcher knife he ran but then he threw a big rock through window. Luckily the curtain stopped flying glass from cutting up the baby. That’s southern California for ya.
