for no reason I have seen, spot silver suddenly jumped to 60/80 cent premium over Crimex….while spot jumped to over $39.00.

Dollar bouncing back, rates too
So, not so great for the metals early on. Nothing we can’t overcome, silver doing better than gold, but both getting weaker as the morning goes.
Literally everything else is flat.
Eco data includes retail sales, weekly jobless and Philly Fed. Retail sales might move things.
Dollar straddling the 50 dma. We’ll see if it has worked off enough of the oversold condition or if it is going to take a run at the 200 dma.
Could just be the bounce in rates prior to Powell stepping aside which I would think would push rates and the dollar back down.
I’m not sure what VBL is seeing with silver premiums, I’m seeing them come down. At one point they were over $5, now they’re around $3.
