On average there are about 35 earthquakes daily around the earth with a magnitude of 2.5 or larger.

Just FYI, today there were 170 earthquakes from 2.5 up to 8.8 Magnitude. I don’t recall there EVER having been anywhere close to this many earthquakes in a 24 hour period, and I’ve been watching them daily for several years now. SNG
