sng, this is what I would contemplate doing.

There’s a lot of dirt on many people including me. Many other influential people, Gates, Clinton, Prince A, etc. and of course many less influential people. I’ve already got the AG on side, so we throw some of the non-influentials under the bus to satisfy the masses prioritising those who are least likely to have been there at the same time as influentials (based on pilot logs, memory, checking dates of videos) and scrutinise the to-be-released videos to ensure there’s no incriminating evidence (MAGA hats etc).

Of course you and I would see through that immediately, but 99.9% of the masses would take the bait.

That would at least give a trace of credibility to the story. Saying that a hundred or so deaths are more important than thousands of child abuse cases is cynical sidetracking at best. And some girls were probably killed too, plus the suicides. An all round disgusting performance. The Cap’n’s view is looking more and more on course.

More important here. Would you put it past Powell to mess with the bonds here to mess things up with Trump? Not to mention the economy that he already showed he doesn’t give a rats tail about.

Is it true the sell off in the metals today is due to Japanese and European bondholders ( Long term yields are exploding higher) having to sell Gold, to meet margin requirements and to raise much needed cash………

Answer:

Yes — there’s growing evidence that some of today’s pullback in metals — particularly gold and silver — is driven by forced selling from bondholders in Japan and Europe.

📉 What’s driving the metal sell-off?

  1. Long-term yields are spiking

    • Japan’s 30– and 40-year bond yields have recently reached multi-decade highs (around 3.4–3.6%) after dismal auctions and sell-offs from insurers cutting losses goldbroker.com+15goldseek.com+15reddit.com+15.

    • European long-term yields (e.g. German bunds) have also climbed, due to fiscal spending concerns .

  2. Margin calls and liquidity crunch

  3. Sale of gold to raise cash

✅ In summary:

  • The bond market rout is squeezing institutional holders, forcing them to sell across portfolios.

  • Liquid assets like precious metals are being dumped to free up cash.

  • Thus it’s not just weak demand for gold—it’s forced selling to meet margin/cash needs.

💡 What to watch next

  • If bond yields continue to rise and pressure mounts on bond portfolios, metals could face further near-term weakness.

  • However, once the selling subsides, gold and silver often rebound as they resume their role as safe-haven assets.

ferrett @ 17:37….Here’s a “just suppose” (seems I’m always thinking outside the box)!

Posted by silverngold @ 20:50 on July 8, 2025

Just suppose you were Trump, and just suppose you were trying to protect your beautiful and faithful wife as well as your own reputation regarding Epstein Island?  What steps would you go to and risks would you take to accomplish that?

As far as your deviant acquaintance goes, that sounds suspiciously like Canada’s former Prime Minister who was implicated in the Pictin Pig Farm murders of many unattached women over the years, whose remains were fed to the pigs after their “usefulness” was finished. Just saying….and that POS, who IMO is also responsible for Canada going from one of the most desirable country in which to live, to one of the LEAST desirable countries in which to live during his administration, appears to have survived all the scandals and more before, during, and after his “teaching years”.  All FWIW and DYODD…from SNG!

re shares

I can’t give u a sane reason,,…..but I sure hope the bad old days are not coming back, with this giving weapons to the Ukes and bad mouthing Putin….strong dollar, weak PM’s etc….

but apart from that Gold is in a needed correction…..that could last awhile

Funny story I have to share.

Were always joking around but this ones a good one. A friend of a friend of mine in another southern state who have advice on Buygold when to leave with that hurricane or not.  She was there helping her friend who recently ran to the phone on the 4th busy preparing for that and her anniversary and the carpet slips so she carpet surfed across the room landing on a glass table breaking her wrist and a deep cut in her arm leaving husband to runaround looking for bandages but this one needed pressure you can make even though knots is a bandana or scarf and shoe laces from a mother I used once on a kid about 10  who cut half his leg off karate movies  kicking glass door open for a tourniquet. You don’t waist time, what ever works. They’ll have something to talk about next anniversaries

A friend of a friend of their dropped by and she said he was hilarious. She writes in bigger letters cuz she knows I usually use my phone..part carried over.

Can’t put the start too much info on him. Mr Clean l uses Trump’s name to get action to clean up his neighborhood.

You would have loved this. It seems that he is a one-man show who uses the name “Trump” to get action from the city. He carries a sprayer with a powerful cleaner, and when he sees an overpass where the city needs to clean off all the black mold, he gets out and uses the sprayer to write “Trump” in the middle of the black. Then he drives off. Nothing shows until it rains and washes all the mold off, and leaves Trump written there in white in all the black.

The overpass is cleaned within a day! The cops tried to arrest him once, but he had no paint on him so they couldn’t get him for defacing. He was trying to “clean”. No law against that.
There was a trailer abandoned near his home, and he called for 3 weeks trying to get someone from the city to do something. No action.
Then he spray painted “Trump” all over that trailer. It was gone the next day! So now, when he spots an abandoned car that is there for too long, it gets Trump written on it, and right away, it gets picked up.  This may be knowledge you can use!

What happened. It should of could dip down and buying op or go sideways for awhile then up. Should go back up in awhile but you know how that goes but Consolidation could happen like today.

Also some signs although conflicted of good vs not good  political reasons and what did the dollar do today? I wasn’t watching. Just checking in now out.

Someone make sense of this day for me

Posted by Buygold @ 19:03 on July 8, 2025

Gold managed to close above $3300 and silver came back to almost flat closing down $.15 or whatever. It’s flat in the AH’s.

So why did the shares get bombed? Especially the silver shares, make sense of that for me someone, PLEASE!

You guys know that for a long time I’ve thought the shares were an indicator of future moves in the metals. Probably more true in the early 2000’s.

What the heck happened to the shares today?

Nothing new under the sun.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2025-07-08/news-china-gold-platform-implodes-600-million-ponzi

“Once marketed through slick social media campaigns and aggressive affiliate networks, Yongkun attracted thousands of small investors across China by offering returns of 8–12% backed by purportedly bullion reserves. The firm’s sprawling network of regional “investment salons” and online seminars fueled the hype. But as withdrawals spiked last week, the company froze operations, triggering panic and reports of investor losses estimated near ¥4 billion (≈ $600 million).”

Might be why it took a hit today – minor panic for no reason. Always be on the look out for similar schemes.

You got that right! I think we’d all feel well betrayed if that was the case.

PS “National Security” It almost sounds feasible! 🙂

So US spot bitcoin ETFs now hold 6% of all bitcoin ever to be mined.

But that’s 6% of 21m, whereas about 5m have been lost, so it’s about 8% of the float, and their purchases are far exceeding the new mine supply.

Due to unfortunate circumstances I know a sexual predator and several of his victims. Whilst he had them under his sway so that nobody talked, as soon as the dam broke then others came forward. Admittedly there is at least one who will not speak, will not go to the police, but as far as I know most of his victims are known. There are no videos or photos in this case, but if they had existed I am certain that those victims would willingly permit such material being made public for two reasons:

a) it would help ensure his conviction; and

b) it would prove to all the people who think that they are lying that they are not.

He has a silver tongue and continued to persuade authorities to let him keep his teaching and youth activities positions even after the first accuser came forward.

If they have videos of child porn, why are people not being prosecuted? Are the POTUS and the AG saying that we can’t prosecute because juries would have to see child porn – even though victims’ faces can be fogged out? Is it now a defence in pornography cases to say that the POTUS and AG have set a precedent – “You must not show the video. The President says so.”

Rest In Peace, Virginia Giuffre.

I agree with you 100%. Very bad deal and it is so crystal clear that they are lying – all of them. Shame on Trump if he hammered some reporter and downplayed this as if it’s no big deal. It’s a huge deal for his voters and it sure as heck isn’t going away. The other thing is if they’re going to tell the lie, at least be prepared with a good reason. I understand Bondi was fumbling the question when Trump intervened. She should have been prepared with a good cover for the lie, at minimum. So should Patel and Bongino. If nothing else, they could have said the stuff was destroyed by the FBI in the last admin or said the SDNY destroyed the evidence and thrown them under the bus. My buddy thinks there’s more to this and it might be part of a bigger plan, because it’s so obvious they are lying, almost like they want you to know they’re lying.

If not, they’re pathetic, and no different than any other administration in the last 50 years.

All that definitely shows up on the charts, so could be. Certainly the way the shares are acting that would seem to be in the works.

HUI down 5% with the metals down 1%.

Nothing quite like the downside leverage of pm shares is there?

edit: FWIW, volume is heavy in GDX but not so much in the individual names. Whoever is dumping, has a big play in the ETF. This doesn’t appear to be just computers.

The other thing is that the dollar is not up as much as I’d think. Bizarre, but you’d like to see the bizarre days go in our favor occasionally.

Ipso mentioned this Epstein stuff yesterday and I’ve avoided chiming in.

If this is the position that Trump and crew are going to stick with, then they’ve perpetrated one of the biggest fraud campaigns on the country in history. I’m still shocked by this.

I think the article asks a pretty important question. What did Musk really find?
I’m betting he found incriminating evidence on high level officials throughout government and may have even found payments directly from the US government to Epstein.

Regardless, we voted for accountability and it appears there will be none. That just means that this administration is more of the same and an outright fraud.

The country will get the wrath it deserves.

That’s how the “game” works. Between the prevalence of CTA’s ( that overswings momentum to one side), and the algorithms that seek for trigger points ( and institutional “stop” limits), the wash-rinse-repeat cycle continues.

Nothing new here. But the story hasn’t changed one iota. Just the panic cycles of buy high and sell low remain the same amongst illiterate retail jamokes.

The dollar has turned higher (and could be on its way back to 100+) and there are a lot of dummies long Comex Gold and Silver that will be forced to sell.

Silver could test $34ish and gold $3,100ish (but should remain above the large round number at $3,000).

Have a nice day
