This didn’t mention the private sector numbers. A PMI above 50 suggest expansion in that sector, below 50 suggest contraction. The other two could be either from public or private.

The U.S. ISM Services PMI for May 2025 was released today, showing a decrease to 49.9, down from 51.6 in April. This indicates a contraction in the services sector. The ISM Manufacturing PMI was also released, showing a decrease to 48.5, down from 48.7 in April. 

Wow just saw that with oil, down 5%. I don’t have any skin in the oil game so I’m not exactly upset by the drop because of gas prices. If you’re taking a hit, sorry about that. I wonder what they know, or think they know?

We’re getting totally hosed in the pm’s today too given the reversal and drop in the dollar and rates. We should be having a big day.

The volume is decent for this time of day and heavy in AG and EXK among the silvers, but looking about average with the large golds and the ETF’s

It looks like there’s some interest in the bond market, maybe the Fed has leaked that they’re about to start easing. I know Fed Governor Waller came out Friday on CNBS and said they should be cutting. Hard to believe it would be a flight to safety.

Maddog said rightfully that the big money is largely controlled by Jewish interests, maybe a quid pro quo going on for dropping the bunker busters. I’d like to think that doesn’t happen, but no doubt it does, and for Trump’s eco plan to really succeed he needs rates back near zero or in-line with Europe at the very least.

It’s all just bizarre to me. On X this morning a soldier posted the picture of a transport plane full of troops saying they were heading to Iran. I don’t know if it’s true or not. I don’t know what to believe about anything.
It’s also hard to believe Israel would have miscalculated so badly, which would indicate they had the guarantee that we would join them. We are in no shape to be fighting another war. Europe is no help. Seems like TPTB are slow walking us into WW3.

Lastly, China could move on Taiwan and Russia could easily take Ukraine without our support, but China has some of their own problems, not the least of which are economic, course maybe that’s a bigger reason to go to war. They also have a huge Achilles heel with the 3 Gorges Dam. I believe even Taiwan has the capability to hit that with missile strikes.
Then there’s India and Pakistan with no love lost there.

All of this feels staged, like world leaders got together and said “OK, this is how we’re going to split the pot.”

What would take all eyes off this and unite the world? Some sort of event involving aliens. I’ve come across some videos that have said that was about to happen as well.

Everything has gotten so complex and information flies at us a million miles an hour, misinformation as well. I have no doubt this is intentional and meant to keep us confused and away from truth.

As for me and my house, we follow the way, the truth, and the life.

According to Ritter Iran will not let up but will be wearing out Isreal who will then go to us using up our resources that leaves Taiwan in a precarious place with China if  needed. Now will affect shipping and other countries.  They gave Isreal the choice to stop  if they stop so will they. If they don’t it looks like they get what they did to Palestine . Just In case if I were in Europe I’d prepare best I could and take advantage of oil too while I could. If things happen be a disaster or war doesn’t the money come home first spiking prices?

Not that Europe will follow through with their threats to continue the war in Ukraine  themselves but if they did consider it, it might make things more difficult with shipping cut off and now you say Putin said he’s going to take Ukraine. Good timing. That will probably be the only thing that will stop that war.

SM futures are now a little higher. Oil is now down. The dollar is popping but oddly isn’t taking pm’s down with it this am. Plat and Pall are up over 2%

Bitcoin up $700. Rates flat. PM shares slightly higher.

Of course, it’s super early still and PCE’s are out in a few hours. They could have an effect but the way inflation is trending, hard to see them negative for pm’s.

Trump hasn’t declared war on Iran. He’s simply attacked nuclear facilities. Iran has declared “death to America”. Iran, according to the IAEA, does not have a bomb, but has some pretty enriched uranium. Mrs Ferret does not have a sponge cake, but has flour, eggs, sugar etc and could whip one up in no time. Trump would be in big trouble if Iran smuggled a bomb into America and detonated it. After all, they’ve been promising death to America for decades.

So much for saving money when we have a war welfare system they could probably feed the whole US for a century.
