Over the centuries the Israelites continued to disobey God so eventually he sent Jesus with the second covenant. Instead of a thousand laws to be obeyed, which they had shown themselves to be incapable of, the commandments were distilled into two: love thy neighbour as thyself, and love the Lord thy God with all your heart and strength and mind, and whoever believes in Jesus as the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose again and now sits in heaven at God’s right hand, will receive eternal life.
The Zionists think they are still operating under the old covenant, trying to finish off the job their ancestors failed to do. They have learned nothing from their own histories and continue to make the same mistakes over and over and over again. And now they are fighting the Persians; just like old times!
