Medical Bill

Total charges for a new bionic hip joint implant… $58k.  Local Hawaii insurance ‘advantage’ plan pays most of that.  My co-pay…. one ounce of gold (equiv. today price)

Not bad for pain-free mobility again.  Ah, the joys of getting old and decrepit!
