Yes, there are some good reasons for not wanting Palestinians to come to your country. Canada is experiencing that firsthand.
Without the US providing all the financing and weapons to Israel, it would not have had the resources to war with Palestine since 1948 and destroy Gaza. The US has given Israel over $300,000,000,000 since 1948 in inflation-adjusted dollars, so they share responsibility for the situation in Gaza.

1 minute knee jerk was a pop in the metals and shares, followed by a drop to negative – a 1% down for silver – but now silver is flat and gold is back up about $10. The shares have sort of trailed off and are approaching flat, with the metals bouncing to and fro.

Nothing like the massacres we’ve seen in the past.

Dollar is moving up, as are rates, (up 4.5 bips) which surprises me a little.

We’ll see if they sell us out of the gates or take a run at us later in the morning. The shares aren’t forecasting that, but never know.

It ties in with my support for Tulsi Gabbard.  While I do believe in “the way, the truth and the light”; I also believe in our founding fathers concept of freedom of religion.  These two ideas are not contradictory as some argue.

Another interesting stock.  I can’t add more because it is at my allocation limit and I bought late in the rise with a cost basis of around 8.  It looks toppy here and a drop toward 9 would not surprise me.  I might be tempted to exceed the allocation a bit if it does but bail if goes lower than that area.

While I have a bigger position in NAK, and I like to limit exposure to very speculative stocks,  still I might add a bit on a pullback.  I won’t hesitate to sell if turns substantially down say showing a new low on the monthly chart.

So far, every eco data report has been a miss since after Trump took over. It appears he hasn’t fired enough people just yet so that he has a staff to put out phony data like Biden did. 🙂

In any case, why would anyone want to take a million people who have survived off UNRWA funding for seven decades, declare that they don’t want to come anyway, have (as a result of the UNRWA funding) a huge sense of entitlement; and a lot of attitude. What would they have to offer, anyway? What is the market in Egypt and Jordan for huge networks of tunnels and home made bombs? Completely agree. Wherever I went in Europe I always learned at least a little of the language before I got there. Just making the effort in the home country’s language would go a long way, even if it was as little as “Hello” and “Do you speak English?” in their language. Better still if you could ask your first question or two in their language. The French, by the way, and especially the Parisian French, seemed to have the least tolerance for those who didn’t even make an effort to speak their language. But that’s not why I always made an effort; it just seemed the courteous thing to do; it was their country, not America.

I have indeed held…all these years. I have every share I ever bought at a few different price points. The way I see it they all have sympathy for the Palestinian people because they were driven off their original land (like the American Indians) starting in 1948? They were driven out of their homes that were in their families for generations, as a European colony was created.  And they want a two state solution with some name changes.

By the way, the only difference between the American Indians and the Arabs, is the Arabs are far more advanced, I think they created the alphabet. And they were smart enough to get away with the 9/11 attack, a huge sucker punch, that imo put the kibosh on globalization
