After a pause of several days, Kilauea Volcano has resumed erupting at the summit crater. Yesterday the Halemaumau crater again began fountains several hundred feet in the air.

We’re still in the stage of the game, actually the same stage that we’ve been in for the last 15 years, where the shares will not have strength unless the SM is strong, regardless of what the metals are doing. Unfortunately, I’m afraid the same thing applies to the metals.
Someday maybe.
Re Solide state batteries …They are a while away yet…and a lot more expensive than LiO batteries. I think Toyota are putting them in their lux range of Lexus vehicles first….
Still if EV’s prices keep collapsing and Silver stays strong….soon if the battery is Solid State, it will be worth more than the car !!!!!!
We’re going to be smilin big when real shortages of silver develop. I don’t see why that won’t happen.
What’s that Jesse Livermore saying … something like it was only my sitting tight in a bull market that made me real money. I’m all for it.
Cheers
These large miners should do what AG has done and start taking supply off the market. Their shares will take an initial hit but so what? It’s an still an asset on the books.
Screw these paper markets.
Nothing standing in their way. I suspect if they don’t get going soon the whole sector is going to get crushed tomorrow. This is terrible action.
If you understand the implications of these silver solid state batteries … you will realize that they literally take over all battery / energy storage / energy production functions moving forward – especially as hydrocarbon use continues to dimmish due to supply constraints.
The Silver Institue’s stats indicate that the ongoing silver supply deficit running four years now has been in the mid-hundreds of millions of ounces, and this does not include defense stats, which could equal these numbers knowing silver is a key component of smart weaponry.
The Silver Institute | The Global Resource
So, the efforts of Western governments and multinationals to keep silver subdued will fail at some point as reality bites – and prices will reset much higher.
It’s just a matter of time.
Tic … tic … tic … time is on our side.
Be patient with it.
Cheers all
PS Let’s talk about the elephant in the room next time – public demand – which is nonexistent right now within distracted developed economies – thanks to cryptos – this is why Trump et al is pushing them now. (it won’t work)
Dolly –
It seems buyable down here.
That’s going to be an expensive battery but well worth the money. I wonder if we get a discount if we provide the silver? ??
Wow an EV car with one of those solid state batteries sounds like a much more practical option … at least in the cities. Silver going much higher …
Starting at the 15 minute part. He’s a good chart reader, and so far, it looks like the USD is topping and Gold and Silver also looking to go higher.
… the future is silver … because human beings need to move around in order to survive.
Silver demand spikes due to solid-state battery tech advancements. – Citizen Watch Report
Solid-state batteries, which replace the liquid or gel electrolyte with a solid one, require silver for their construction. Samsung, a leader in this technology, has developed a solid-state battery that promises a 600-mile range on a single charge, a mere 9-minute charging time, and a lifespan of up to 20 years. Each of these battery cells uses approximately 5 grams of silver, and with a standard 100 kWh battery pack in an EV potentially needing up to 1 kg of silver, the implications for silver demand are profound.
Silver is where it’s at folks.
Get you some.
Cheers
Re: Dolly Varden. I’ve made some bucks on that one and hold a bunch (for me) I’m waiting until their value is realized. Maybe a takeout I dunno.
“Do the juniors ever run? ?”
Must you torment me! ![]()
Been watching Dolly Varden. They came out with some great drill results a month or two ago. Stock jumped to $.95 or so. Now back below $.70. Do you have an opinion on that one?
Do the juniors ever run? ?
Yes, all the shares should be doing much better, for sure. Everything was lined up for us a half hour ago. Dollar was down, rates down, SM coming back. Then the dollar turned back up.
It does seem to me the shares still need the SM to go higher. I honestly don’t know what will get the shares moving. We did better in the afternoon yesterday, maybe it will be the same today.
Sometimes I think that the juniors run with the nasdaq, maybe tied in with the availability of money.
Shares could be doing a lot better. I’m sure that BTC is hurting us. The “gambling” money has been going into the ether. Maybe never to return LOL
Let’s hope so. Silver struggling to get out of bed this am.
Today we have the age-old question. Can the shares rise in a down SM? Can the metals?
BTW, is it my imagination or does silver trade with tech?
EFP UPDATE and ALERT
EFP is being squeezed even higher today. The pressure is building and I am not just talking about price.
The leverage employed on these contracts, the carrying costs to obtain physical metal, and margin required to hold the short/hedge is hitting the red line.
Counterparty risk is growing, as players may be learning a valuable lesson that derivatives do not equal physical metal.
trying to lead the HUI higher.
Dollar in the way, rates coming back in a little though.
Hopefully silver can pick up some steam.
across the board, except for some anomaly in the Philly Fed which beat by 50 points. Retail sales and jobs missed. If they factored in inflation in the retail sales numbers, they would have been hideous.
Dollar coming back in a little but still higher. It’s 9 am and they haven’t shown up just yet. We’ll see
whatever they were. Gold up $15, leaving $2700 a little further behind. Silver struggling to hold the flatline.
SM not changed too much but seems to be slowly giving up early gains.
They are playing the usual spoofing game with GLD and SLV trying to create phantom selling.
Shares up a little but easy gains to crush in the first few minutes. Meh, looks the same as it always is to me.
