I do believe the Fed will go a half point instead of a quarter. Could be the driving factor. The jobs numbers lately have been abysmal. Don’t know what they’ll be tomorrow but if they’re better than expected, no one will believe them because all the good numbers have been revised down.
The Fed needs to cut and they know it. I’m not too worried about inflation because the economy is falling off a cliff. Hard to see rates making that big of a difference until they get back to zero. They will because the US economy has been built on 0% rates.

$2500 in the rear view mirror this morning. Silver up near 2%. This is unexpected. No big move in the dollar, although tilting downward. SM trying to bounce back some this morning without much success and is flat.
Bitcoin down 2% (huh?) Oil up a little but below $70. Rates flat. PM shares firm but not crazy up.
It’s very early and there’s a lot of eco data this morning at 0830 EST. Hard to see that having too much of an impact, but you never know.
We didn’t capitalize on the move down in the dollar yesterday, so maybe this is make-up action. Regardless, looks good to me for now.

BTW Maybe the same for Nivida. Someone put out a statement that they were getting subpoenaed by the DOJ for antitrust issues. They were leading the tech stocks as far as I know. They wondered who would do that to them. Cost of doing business in the states with this administration. Something going on with Google too. It’s like someone is attacking the tech leaders.

The dollar dumped a bit yesterday, looks like the “JOLTS” job offerings missed by a country mile this am – by over 400K.
Couldn’t figure out what the deal was with the dollar all of a sudden, rates fell too by another 8 bips.
Oil closed at $69.25, first time under $70 in a while. Regardless of what they say, this world is awash in oil. If Trump wins, our production will force prices much lower.

With silver actually flipping positive and holding the $28 area. Gold down a couple bucks but was down $18 at one point last night.
Shares down a little premarket on a hangover from yesterday, and still weaker with the SM.
Oil has come all the way back to positive, was below $70 at $69.30 at one point. Bitcoin still down 1.8%
Everything hinges on whether the SM can come back. Another miracle today, or do stocks continue to get flushed? Yen up slightly against the dollar.
Dollar starting to slip a little. We might have a chance for some gains today. “Feels” like they’re going to bring the SM back.
