Bonds frontrunning the SM is kind of what it’s feeling like. There’s been a lot of $ made in the bond market the last week or so.
At least the USD is pulling back a little today, but not helping us much. Again, silver is the tell.
Bitcoin taking a little hit. Gold does seem to be going in the opposite direction of Bitcoin these days.
Sorry but these little stairsteps up with the shares doing nothing don’t really give me a lot of confidence.

Could also be driving the rates lower. Look at Japans 225 index, the USA has following Japan’s falling rates, maybe our stock market will start following Japans lower stock market.

We could say, re the excess money printing, excess profits, excess savings, and we have too many dollars chasing too few places to park the excess savings, driving that rate lower.
Maybe everybody already have all the stocks, bonds, real estate, and Gold they want so the overflow goes into bonds? The dollar is just another government manipulated thing on the futures market.
The so called stronger dollar is only stronger against the other idiot fake currencies. The excess dollars are weaker against the cost of living, stocks bonds real estate and gold.

Republican Attorney General Alarmed by Biden Administration’s ‘Door-to-Door’ Vaccination Drive
Arizona’s attorney general is expressing concern that President Joe Biden’s administration is breaching Americans’ privacy.
Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican, says the White House seemed to indicate this week that it might possess medical records containing contact information for Americans who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine when officials outlined plans to send teams door-to-door to encourage more people to get a shot.
“If this is the case, this is a severe breach of privacy, and I will not tolerate such intrusions within Arizona,” Brnovich said in a letter to Biden, a Democrat.
The attorney general, who is running for a U.S. Senate seat, added that it would be “most inappropriate” for officials to single out Americans who have not gotten a vaccine.

They say the Bond market is the biggest market. The Fed was talking raising rates later, but so far they must have increased buying Bonds to keep rates down. And the US Dollar value is climbing against the other fiat currencies. We get discount prices on imported crap from Europe etc. Are they trying to head wind imported Oil? The currency discount?
The other countries have to pay higher (like a tariff) to buy from the US producers. This is a confusing situation. Assuming everything is manipulated by TPTB, they must dazed and confused about what they are doing and what to do next.
I feel sorry for that guy below this post and his advisors and speech writers. I wouldn’t want his job. They must all have sweat on their upper lips as they
wing it” all. At least they can blame the COVID 19 thing when the next big fiasco pops up, “and it will”. Like insurance commercial for car mechanical repairs.

I remember ads from years ago where people were selling Chinchillas for “ranching.”
It doesn’t sound like they were a big money maker for your family. “$3500 in 1945” Yikes! That was like a 83 ounces of gold at $42 per.
Cheers

Despite the 10 yr. now at 1.305% – on its’ way back below 1%
Unfortunately the SM is down which means the PM shares will get crushed with it.

My father bought a chincilla in 1945 for $3500 ! – the price of about three new cars at the time . He mated it with another owner’s chinchilla and they split the litter . At that time I think there were only two chinchilla coats in the world . One in the British royalty and the other in the family of Aga Khan or Ali Khan (husband of Rita Hayworth).
However , as the herd grew in size , the value per animal kept dropping , so the ‘nest egg’ maintained more or less constant value .
The fur is beautiful – grey ranging from almost white on their belly side to very dark on the back . The softness comes from the fact that whereas our hair is single stranded from each follicle , chinchilla hairs branch out from the root , like a tree . Daily , we would put clean fullers’ earth in a bread pan into their individual cages and they would roll in it , violently , to remove any oil they secreted , to keep the pelt fluffy and clean . Chinchilla kits are born with teeth and tend to accidentally bite while nursing so mortality from being bitten by the mother in retaliation is not uncommon . They are nocturnal – in nature , they remain in their burrows during the day and emerge at night , similar to possums.
BTW – we did not own a family car until ten years later , after our home was mortgage-free .
