It’s all v well talking 2 K, but what about the scum selling everything at 1500…….you’d think that one of the largest banks in the world would know about that.

Citigroup says gold may top record

Gold prices may rally to a record above $2,000 an ounce in the next two years, according to Citigroup Inc., which gave a laundry list of positive drivers including rising risks of a global recession and the likelihood that the Federal Reserve will reduce U.S. interest rates to zero.

“We expect spot gold prices to trade stronger for longer, possibly breaching $2,000 an ounce and posting new cyclical highs at some point in the next year or two,” analysts including Aakash Doshi said in a note received Sept. 10. That would exceed the record of $1,921.17 set in 2011.

Doesn’t appear to be terrible terms, but still sucks for their shares.

Honestly, it seems like so far we’re dodging a bit of a bullet where gold is concerned. Considering the USD strength and the rise in rates we could really be getting smashed today (and still might). Despite the reversal back down off $1550 we’ve seen things be a lot worse.

Even the HUI hasn’t been crushed that much despite the poor performance of the shares overall.

Re the !0’s…we have a potential Triple Bottom @ 1.5 %, that may well take some breaking…we dropped for 11 months, so cud rally in a correction for 3 plus easy, a 38 % correction is 2.16 %.

Not sure how bad that will be for Gold, as I see bad economic times, causeing money printing bullishness for PM’s…like that German news……I don’t know about the US, but over here they are really pushing EV’s and Co’s are spending huge on them…but people just ain’t buying them….it is going to be a huge financial disaster.

Whistling Past the Fall Equinox

Flipping through The Wall Street Journal‘’s business section Tuesday got me fired up about buying some cheap puts — perhaps even straddling them with a long position in gold. Talk about depressing! Moody’s cut Ford Motor’s bond rating to junk status; 48 states are going after Google for antitrust violations; steel manufacturers are getting hammered by, of all things, a dearth of vegetables suitable for canning; and investors were contemplating a downturn in the economy with three weeks remaining in September, statistically the worst month of the year for stocks.

Loading up on Puts

Trump will need to make nice with China, stepping up the pace of his bullish tweets, if he’s going to hold the stock market buoyant as the autumn equinox approaches. Mr. Market loves to scare the hell out of investors at this time of year, and they have plenty to worry about. As for loading up on put options, so far the bet has taxed the nerves and patience of traders looking for the right moment to get short. Every time things seem to be going their way, there’s the Trumpster with an encouraging word about the trade talks, or Fed Chairman Powell scuddling about in his knee pads, succoring Wall Street’s needy. Their little dog-and-pony show seems to be working, but how long will the distraction last?

That was a good call you made on the 10 yr. bouncing. Still not sure it gets all the way to 2% but the bounce up here to 1.72% this am has been lightening fast.

Appears $1500 gold is now resistance.

Kinda surprised the DOW isn’t up 500 on this

Because they’re maybe not serious since it’s a give me money play.
Then you have others who maybe believe it just as long as it doesn’t include them. Mick Jagger critizing not having social health care here or climate change money trap. Meanwhile he jumps on a jet ” instead of rowing a boat” and pays for surgery he would have been put on a waiting list in UK. Too funny. Same for the rest of the hypocrites.

VW Warning: EU Climate Policies “Threaten The Very Existence” Of Germany’s Car Industry

The car Industry is Germany’s largest industrial employer….if it goes so does Germany and therefore so does DB, which brings down the World.

Maybe letting a 16 yr old simpleton, run the economy wasn’t quite such a smart idea….!!!!!!

Took me a minute to find a comparison,
China blows up building.

Notice the same sounds of explosion, implosion and plume in the China explosion of their tallest building that blew up and the Twin Towers. 2:16 till 6 minutes they talk about explosions and then you see one. I believe if it wasn’t for the patriots on the last plane it would of hit the WH and why B was in Florida in a elementary school. To get his war.
