no doubt we are going inverse.

Hopefully that will slow down the rise in rates.

O, don’t pay it no never mind…that’s just the action in the PM sector…

It’s a bit early to be getting enthusiastic regarding the short-term, however it shouldn’t be too long before the specter of negative rates hitting US shores rears it’s ugly head…and all of a sudden PM’s and tangibles will be the only show in town.

So da boyz might be able to keep things contained for another few weeks, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a little lead back in the PM pencil by month end.

Cheers

Seems unlikely they were “exhaustion” gaps.

How can we be exhausted when we’ve been down for years … but what the heck do I know!

shares beginning to creep upward.  will the metals follow?  silver looks promising.  gold, still no clear direction.

GAPS

Posted by drb2 @ 10:20 on September 10, 2019

the gaps in mid June and late July have had me worried.   Unlike the Stock Market, gaps in PMs always seem to get filled.

This link gives me hope that this June was a Breakaway Gap.

From <https://www.google.com/search?q=why+do+gaps+need+to+be+filled&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiM1I6OsMbkAhUhFTQIHbq9Cq8Q1QIoBnoECAoQBw&biw=1536&bih=748&dpr=1.25>

Anybody want to chime in?

Good. morning Captain, good morning shine…thanks for the support…

Do you need another mule skinner
Workin’ on your new road line?
My line’s been rollin’
I’m rollin’ all the time
My line is work
I’m rollin’ all the time
I can carve my initials (ha)
On an old mule’s behind
I said hey, little waterboy (hey)
Bring that water bucket ’round
(Bring it ’round, bring it ’round, bring it ’round, bring it ’round)
I said hey, little waterboy
Bring that water bucket ’round
And if you don’t like your job
Shut that water bucket down

yes, course we remember. Welcome back!

We’re all waiting to see what happens as well. Some claim to know. Articles from guru’s get posted who claim to know.

I think most of us are just hoping we bought gold and silver for the right reasons and held for those same reasons over the years.

We have another rate cut next week to remind people just how F’ed things are under the hood of this dilapidated ’57 Chevy.

Aguila-I woke. up at. 4 am and checked G&S-

Posted by Richard640 @ 8:30 on September 10, 2019

The DOW was. down 91–G&S had come waaaay back from over nite lows–yields were lower–now they’ve turned it all around…

taking another look at. silver…I see a “parabolic” move…I. can’t help but speculate: could that. be a blow off top? Parabolic moves are often retraced. 100%….Nah! Impossible…or. Izzit? Now all the mainstream funds, banks, etc are. on board the. “gold bull”…they weren’t even looking at it 2 or 3 months.  ago…yesterday Citibank said gold could go to a new high over. 1900…

If he be right=good news for gold

Rickk’s Pick for Tuesday
Published Monday, September 9, 9:53 p.m. ET

Interest rates on the Ten-Year Note still have a long way to fall if they are going to achieve the 0.73% target shown in the chart (see inset).  Although it is mildly bullish that they have bounced from well above the 1.30% Hidden Pivot target given here earlier, the rally would have to hit 2.18% to turn the weekly chart bullish. For now, though, we’ll need to respect the uptrend because it has in fact turned the daily chart bullish via an impulse leg surpassing two prior peaks recorded last month. If without pausing for breath it exceeds a third at 1.79% that occurred a month ago, that would imply the upward skew in rates is about to get legs, presumably with a move to at least 2%. We’ll spectate for now, but our goal is to get short when it looks like the bounce is about to sputter out.

Now I don’t feel so bad.

Posted by goldielocks @ 0:03 on September 10, 2019

Sold some last week and just waiting. I’ll decide later if I should of sold more or wind up taking a small loss buying it back depending.
