Mruk–I went to Camp Kawaga for 4 summers–1950-53-there were no homes on the lake then–
There was a girls camp across the lake=Camp Pinemere–the lake was TEAMING with fish-back then–the North. Woods. are. enchanting…I loved the smell of the carpet of pine needles in the forest and loved. the wild. blueberries…bears. were in the woods-we would go into Minoqua every few weeks…I am from Peoria il–parents drove. the kids to the train station. in chicago and we had a few special cars–the train made a special stop and we walked into camp
