Could be a sketchy day in pm’s although they are holding up well considering the USD strength. Time to be a bit Neutral?

Thoughts?

Mexico plans no drastic changes to mining sector: official

Posted by ipso facto @ 9:18 on January 2, 2019

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – The head of Mexico’s mining industry said the new government does not seek to implement drastic changes in the sector, cancel concessions or raise royalties that companies pay to extract minerals.

At the end of last month, shares of Mexico’s main mining companies fell more than 10 percent after the party of new President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador made a proposal in the Senate that would toughen rules for the sector.

The plan would force the government to obtain indigenous communities’ consent before granting concessions on their lands. Companies could also lose their permits if they do not present an annual report on the projects’ social impact.

But Francisco Quiroga, the undersecretary for mining, said in an interview on Wednesday that the so-called indigenous consultation would be required only for new permits.

“There is a principle of non-retroactivity of the law,” he said. “No rights will be violated, neither those of the communities nor those of the companies.”

Hope you had a great New year!

Macron is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed, but to make that comment sort of put him over the top and makes him guillotine material. These globalists are pretty unbelievable.

Looks like things are a little squishy in world stock markets to open the New Year. USD is ripping higher, hard to see pm’s pushing against that headwind today.

As always…we’ll see.

Globalization In Reverse, Below A Copy Of An Email To A Friend

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:59 on January 1, 2019
Kevin, generally I always try to make a long story short. Most authors tend to make a short story long. I have written and saved many essays from long ago about the global banks operating as a form of global socialist gov’t. No time now for explanation. The story below imo is somewhat accurate, but very old news. I guess more and more financial writers over time are realizing that the global people or banks that control the money, (Fed Res) control the global system.
 ==
 I do not agree at all with the last four paragraphs of the link. He implies the bankers let a crisis happen so they can be the hero fixing it. Imo the system they created in 1913 was faulty and caused numerous unintended consequences over the decades that forced them to do things they would not normally do (banned gold 1934, gold backed dollar 1971, 21% prime 1980 to recent zero rates). My view the dot come bust March 2000, started a recession, the terrorists took advantage on 9/11/01, a big sucker punch, throwing the bankers “off stride” forcing the bankers to over ride big stock market losses and reward people with a real estate profit boom that culminated in the 2008 crash. You know the rest.
==
That ’08 crisis created more and more pissed off people from around the world in all countries causing these nationalism, independence, populists movements and patriotism etc. The “loser” people or countries want OUT of the global commune. Globalization can not resume or continue without a prosperous USA consumer/taxpayer. If anything, maybe it could continue if China allows itself to be used up like the USA was used (importing) to help develop undeveloped poor nations. (the 9/11 terrorists were pissed off with globalization since back in 1967 and before)

Below small parts of this link:
http://www.alt-market.com/articles/3607-the-psychological-warfare-behind-economic-collapse
 ==
Free markets have not existed within the global economy on a large scale for at least the past 100 years. The rise of central banking has eroded all vestiges of freedom in production and trade.
 ==
The protections of corporate personhood, limited liability, unfair taxation of small business competition and legislation shielding corporations from civil lawsuits are all generated by government.
 ==
At the very core of the combination of corporate power and government protection (what some might say is the classical definition of fascism), rest the central banks, globalist institutions and the banking elites behind them.
 ==
“The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole..
 ==
I believe the key to understanding economics and the world at large is to embrace the truth that almost everything that is done in the world of politics and finance is done to manipulate public psychology toward certain ends.
 ==
What economics is really about is molding minds; it is about changing the psychology of millions of people. It is about erasing inborn conscience and moral compass. It is about destroying long held societal principles and heritage.
 ==
Globalists exhibit most, if not all, the traits of narcissistic sociopaths, who sometimes organize into cooperative groups as long as there is a promise of mutual gain and a structure of top down dominance.
 ==
One can only control people through debt and false rewards for so long before they start to recoil and revolt.
==
The globalist magazine The globalist magazine the economist announced in 1988 the coming of a one-world currency system, one that would be launched in 2018 and that would require the decline of the U.S. economy and the dollar to open the door to the reset.

Thats why if ever needed I’m going to take a class on how to melt down PMs and make jewelry and other things out of it like lighter holder and cigarette case that goes into a plain case and who knows what else I can think of incase I ever have to walk away without having coins to claim, probably not all but hopefully enough. I tested the small 1/10 ounce gold coins when traveling by mixing them with a bunch of pennies dimes and quarters traveling and they didn’t bother with them.

Hey, it’s really worth your time to see just where we are, time wise, in this world. It’s either a refresher or an eye opener so please take the time and watch.

Jim Kunstler: 2019, Ding! Ding! Margin Call USA

Welcome to the American hall of mirrors… and mind the broken glass all over the floor. That’s Nature’s way of saying the country has run out room to punk itself. 2018 was the consolidation of bad faith in everything we do: politics, the news media, economics & finance, show biz, regular biz, jurisprudence, medicine, education, and relations between men and women — the year of peak dishonesty and self-deception. Of course, the trouble with dishonesty is that it doesn’t comport with Reality, and Reality being Mother Nature’s husband, bats in the cleanup position. Entering 2019, the bases are loaded with delusions, misdirections, and turpitudes. I shall get right to it without further throat-clearing.

Not all of us had pleasant experiences with Irish.  Upon his death, when his safe was opened, the gold coins that Leuko and I had entrusted him with were gone, never to be returned.  That was also the fate of a gentleman from out west whose name I don’t recall, although he was able to retrieve about a third of his coins when he immediately flew to Belize upon hearing the news.

May Leuko, Wanka and the Godfather be blest.

Would life without parole be a better option than the death penalty for you? Yikes, not for me, just get it over with. 🙂

As for the women’s march in CA., there’s really nothing worse than white people hating themselves because of they’re race. The brainwashing is nothing short of amazing. Whatever it takes to move the agenda I guess.
