It really feels like to me that we’re not going to get a lot of traction until the SM rolls over in earnest. I don’t know but it feels like we are sort of going inverse the SM.

Maddog – really wouldn’t surprise me if the banksters are pushing NEM and ABX to hedge all their future supply. In any other sector these acquisitions would be a huge event as they’re ABX and NEM are the big players. It really should be lifting all boats. I’m trying to pick up some NEM at $32.50, we’ll see what happens. I’ll probably regret it if I pick it up.

Shame what happened to Goldcorp. I think I owned back in like 2003 when it was a $28 stock.
Probably a good buy for NEM though. Looks like the big players are consolidating, it would seem the juniors probably aren’t far behind. Just need a decent move up in the metals.
Nevertheless, as we always see, NEM will get beat up today and GG will probably lose early gains.
