No ECB, No Problem: Record Demand For Spanish, Italian And Portuguese Debt Offerings

After a brief hiatus in bond land driven by sharp stock market volatility, which saw a 40-day stretch without a single junk bond price in the primary market and a move wider in peripheral bonds, credit investors are again feeling the FOMO squeeze and expressed it vividly this morning in the form of record demand for sovereign bond offerings from Spain, following a similar scramble for debt sold by Spain and Portugal.

According to Bloomberg, sovereign bond offerings from Italy, Spain and Portugal in January have drawn “unprecedented” bid-side demand, for a total of €106 billion euros ($120 billion), up 14 percent from a year ago, helping a slide in peripheral euro-area yields in the past two weeks even as the ECB’s QE quietly fades away.

Now … if every state did this …

More mining M&A: The rumour is…

…that Kinross and IAMGOLD are talking. Big caveat on this; I personally don’t know whether it’s true (and times like these all sorts of whispers do the rounds), but I’ve now heard this one from three different places. That’s enough to pass it on here, see what you make of it.

Kirkland Lake has been an unbelievable performer. Sure would be nice to see some of the other miners act like it has.

Ororeef (12:24). Not everything in hibernation. My Kirkland Lake shares are up 3.5 % at present.

“evisceration” is a good description

I’m looking at MUX making a new 52 week low – pretty depressing

The fact that we’ve turned south again after such a minimal rally sucks beyond all belief

Dirty, filthy, commie rag Rolling Stone has a good. article:that there’s a massive and obvious benefit for all in dumping piles of money in the hands of very rich people

Posted by Richard640 @ 10:28 on January 22, 2019

I have no idea if Ocasio-Cortez will or will not end up being a great politician. But it’s abundantly clear that her mere presence is unmasking many, if not most, of the worst and most tired Shibboleths of the capital.   We’ve been living for decades in a universe where the basic tenets of supply-side economics — that there’s a massive and obvious benefit for all in dumping piles of money in the hands of very rich people — have gone more or less unquestioned. Moreover, she’s laying bare the long-concealed fact that many of their core policies are wildly unpopular, and would be overturned in a heartbeat if we could somehow put them all to direct national referendum.

Take the tax proposal offered by Ocasio-Cortez, which would ding the top bracket for 70 percent taxes on all income above $10 million.

The idea inspired howls of outrage, with wrongest-human-in-history Alan Greenspan peeking out of his crypt to call it a “terrible idea,” Wisconsin’s ex-somebody Walker saying a 5th grader would know it was “unfair,” and human anti-weathervane Harry Reid saying “you have to be careful” because voters don’t want “radical change quickly.”

Except polls show the exact opposite. Almost everyone wants to soak the rich. A joint survey by The Hill and Harris X showed 71 percent of Democrats, 60 percent of Independents, and even 45 percent of Republicans endorse the Ocasio-Cortez plan.

Is it feasible? It turns out it might very well be, as even Paul Krugman, who admits AOC’s rise makes him “uneasy,” said in a recent column. He noted the head of Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers estimated the top rate should be even higher, perhaps even 80 percent.

On the bright side … errr … uh … we’re still on the right side of the dirt.

Cyanocobalamin anyone take
B injections
625 mcg per liter
3.125 mcg per dose ( incase you can’t see it of aluminum)
Larger doses people might say well a small dose, larger does incite granulomas at the walls of the aluminum.
These smaller doses more likely to get translocated into the neural tissue carried by the macrophages. Usual prescription is multi doses.

It’s because we progressed. Most white America having less kids because there is more thought going into it. Thought about raising and affording it. Not about having a child as a carrear opportunity for welfare. This is one reason they cut welfare down to something like five years for the parents anyways.
Notice at about the exact same time that’s when all this race inequality started. The same time as the demand for better paying jobs they weren’t qualified for. They also started having less kids. So now they’re importing them as America unskilled labor is demanding higher pay for flipping hamburgers.
Theyre mad and looking for someone to blame.
Sometimes I could think it was a plan to dull the shock of having to work but don’t think politicians are that smart.
The difference is to the most part in these poor area is the black women will work but many of the men they have to support and many running around in them. The Hispanic men will work and prefer the women stay home with the kids like is used to be for white but will start too young in America like in their teens before they even finish school because they don’t have the same standards with equated down to survival. They don’t equate at that ages overpopulation to creating poverty or understand that other people’s money doesn’t fall from the sky instead of reaching for the sky.
