Here in Florida, we have these new-fangled things called “computers” that use some space-age technology called the “Internet” — I can actually see all of my open positions at one time!

Do you have any of these things in Georgia yet? (by the way, you don’t need to bring up anything about college football — we’re too busy on these electric computators to go outside and run and care about throwing silly balls around anymore)

Yeah, I don’t know what is going on with the Saudi’s. Clearly there is a lot we don’t know and I’m wondering if this might not be the beginning of volatility in the country.

Coups and counter coups, tend to get bloody?

Trump congratulated Bin Salman, so was he aware?

Are there actually any good guys in this whole thing?

Oil quietly gaining steam, what does that indicate?

Killed in a firefight!

I have a Theory about

Posted by Ororeef @ 11:03 on November 6, 2017

why that church 30 miles away ..Well its seems like he was arrested twice for beating his wife & child and apparently his mother -in Law was a member of that Church ……and he apparently lost his ability to carry a weapon when he was convicted of spousal abuse …since he spent some time in JAIL for it.Thats a serious loss of FACE in Texas .In addition to his dishonorable discharge which may have all been connected to the spousal abuse .

It might have been a retaliation against his mother -in Law who I figure sided with her daughter a bit too forcefully for him…If that was the case then this was a domestic dispute gone wildly astray ….very Sad..

looks like the usual daily brick wall has been thrown up for G&S.

Alex Valdor @ 10:29 You and Buygold Trying To Test My Memory Today?

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:57 on November 6, 2017

Seems like I remember some theory (Another’s?) that the Saudi’s had a deal to supply cheap oil (20 yrs ago) for cheap gold.

Seen a couple articles, mostly foreign press and Reuters about that chopper crash with some folks on board. Trying to escape to Yemen maybe? Amazing how one sided the US Media has become regarding which ‘news’ and which ‘opinions’ they allow to air. Guess G.Orwell called it right. News has come under control of the ‘Ministry of Propaganda’. Dont think the politicians in DC or the Media Moguls got the message from the last elections, WE are tired of both of you!! Do your JOB or get out!!

BTW, I am about to open that second bag of coffee you gifted me with a few months back. It has been stored in the freezer for times such as this. Thank you once again for your most generous gift.

I will toast the Best of Health to you and your wife with the next cup.

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:42 on November 6, 2017

could sort or be like those fishing memories of 10-15 years ago. Seems that 8lb bass caught in 1987 has grown over the years into a 20lb bass. 🙂

However, I do seem to recall a time when gold shot from 1200 to 1900 and I was whining about how fast EQ and I were having to dig those 100 up day post signs on the Golden Trail. Seems we did have a few of those, or at least it was a couple days. Course, I looked in the mirror the other day, and I once was much better looking too. LOL

Saudi is a mystery. For sure there is much more going on than the cover story of ‘corruption’. So far, I think it is going to be a good thing. All I do know, is having Saudi become unstable would be a very terrible thing. It is about the only country in the entire Middle East that is not falling apart at the seams. Remove the stability of a large country like Saudi and who knows the chaos that would take over the entire region. Just my two cents on the subject.

So far, does not look good to pick up some more SLV options today. Guess will just ride the ones I have for now.

And I’m with Ororeef about Jonny Texas. Someone should give the Patriot Citizen a Gold Medal for his bravery and stopping the killing. The boy done GOOD!

Torex Reports an Illegal Blockade at the ELG Mine

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:32 on November 6, 2017

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – Nov. 6, 2017) – Torex Gold Resources Inc. (the “Company” or “Torex”) (TSX:TXG) announced that during the afternoon of Friday, November 03, a group of approximately 20 local unionized workers illegally blockaded the main gate to the ELG mine, demanding a change in labour union. This action came after a meeting held earlier in the day where the Company explained to these workers that the Company did not have the authority to enact such a change. It could only be accomplished through a government sanctioned process that considered the intentions of the majority of unionized employees. The illegal blockade has continued since then, in a peaceful manner, and no unionized workers remain on site. Without a workforce, the Company shutdown the processing plant in an orderly manner. During the stoppage, there will be a focus on maintaining environmental protections.

Farmboy – re: 100 buck days

Posted by Alex Valdor @ 10:29 on November 6, 2017

I have been watching the price of oil in US dollars creeping up , while gold is flat to downward . My thought is this …that the Saudi’s are saying we will continue to sell oil in dollars , but only if we can convert those dollars to bullion at the right price .

What I am not seeing much mention of in the media , this morning , is that one Saudi crown prince was downed with other investor types near Yemen in a helicopter . No survivors .

Wow more per person than China and India. Grandpa’s tales of the Weimar inflation are still underneath the surface

German Investors Now World’s Largest Gold Buyers

Morning Farmboy

Re 100 bucks days

I see two possibilities…..as u say an economic/financial collapse and that is baked in, as of now…timing is the question.

2nd is political change …..Bannon and the movement to dump Rino’s…..the EU falling apart, tks to new political party’s….Austria already, Italy’s 5 Star and Northern League…u name the Western country and there is huge pool of pissed off voters…..all again unstoppable.

The only thing that is holding it all together is the Rig and at the centre of that are the utterly corrupt and infinetly venal banksters aided and abetted by the equally vile Pols…not what I would call a recipe for long term financial rectitude or peace of mind.

So either they blow it all up again, or we elect people who will call them to account.

I think our hero deserves equal time TEXAS JOHNNY give him a HUG doining the right thing ..

You can see the RIG plain as day. Gold never allowed a $100 move but Bitcoin can shoot up $1,000 in a week. Nothing here to see, whistle past the graveyard. Someone killed Gold

I’m just askin’ but have we ever seen gold up $100 before?

This Saudi Arabia coup prevention move has me perplexed. Is the Bin Salman a good guy or a bad guy?

Seems like he wants war with Iran? I guess that would make him a friend of the Neocons and an enemy of Russia/Syria too?

OTOH – a lot of those guys he arrested had tight ties to the Clintons and you’d think by default our Neocon intelligence agencies?

So confused.

With the ‘Game of Thrones’ playing out in Saudi and its implied ramifications for oil and more conflict in the ME, its amazing gold is not up a 100 today. Welcome to another day of market manipulation. I wonder if we will see another gold up a 100 bucks kinda day again? Short of total economic collapse.

It is what it is. Will try to make a few bucks today. About the best I can hope for.

Best, Farmboy

silverngold @ 19:43. That was a super informative one hour listen to Dave Dilley.

Posted by Equisetum @ 0:54 on November 6, 2017

I have no conceptual problem at all to accept that there has been very dramatic recent melting of ground ice in land areas  surrounding  Arctic marine waters (recall the recent posting  on this forum about  ground ice melting on Pelly Island bordering the Beaufort Sea) but at the same time accepting the logic and the data evidence of Dilley’s cycle analyses which form his basis for expecting significant global cooling not long in the future and likely already underway.  I am not a climatologist but I think I have had enough exposure to scientific investigation to accept that today’s evidence of recent accelerated melting of ground ice is not a reason to rule out cyclical trends toward global cooling. I would not likely have seen Dilley’s presentation if you had not posted it, so thank you for alerting us to it.   Cheers.  Equiz
