This is a serious question for you.

If you think Russians are so well educated, why is it that none of their products or innovations are visible in the modern world. I can’t think of one cool Russian product that I would like to buy besides some war tool. You’re suggesting they’re so well educated, I would expect product innovations that would shape the modern world. But I see none. I’ve never been to Russia, but from what I can make out of things, nothing points to innovation, free thinking or great minds at work. Is it another conspiracy and really they’re making great products that the world is unaware of? I think not.

I do think that the great pitting of Russia VS USA as superpowers against one another, is all bullshit and the banks/ military industrial complexes on both sides want the tension

I agree there’s troubles coming down the road. Much of our comfortable existence will cease to exist. We are going to live in “interesting times” and that’s not in a good way. How far away are major cities (Charlotte?) from total anarchy? Not far it seems …

PS Making enemies of the Russians is a massively stupid, dangerous and pointless policy. Ticks me off no end!

Why not be FRIENDS with PUTIN ?

Posted by Ororeef @ 15:12 on September 22, 2016

He understands POWER and is willing to use it.His people are white, Very well educated ,he is willing to use force to contain the Muslims and has proven it .Why dont we use him to contain the Muslim Hordes ? We share much in common ,were allies in WW2 . He did offer assistance during 911 ,even warned us something was going to happin .but OUR STUPID arrogant Politicians ignored him  .  It wasent POLITICALLY CORRECT !  He was too white ! He CAN do whats needed in the MID EAST ,all he wants is to be respected ,recognized  and restore Russia ! WE need another YALTA CONFERENCE ,but this time with TRUMP representing the US.   instead of a Sickly Socialist !

WE can play our TRUMP CARD ,! divide up mid East oil between us we earned all of it in IRAQ ,we should have kept the Oil like trump said !  Give Russia the other HALF (IRAN )in exchange for containing the Muslims .No territory gains in Europe and a NATO controlled Turkey .The rest Putin can manage for us and make Russia very rich again ! He has NO SHARIA law in RUSSIA ! He restored the Christian Church in Russia !He knows how to deal with the Camel Jocky ,Towel Heads !

I totally agree with you; one would have to be partly insane to play in the PM markets for these past 8 years. I know that it’s been a contributing factor for why I’ve seen a therapist during this time. But something will have to “give”, and cause an unravelling. What that event will be; no one knows.

Honestly I’m tired of managed PM markets

Posted by eeos @ 14:56 on September 22, 2016

The longer it’s managed, the worse the pain is going to be for the managers. I’m also sick of watch paint dry (PM going up) and complete chaos waterfall declines. This is why no sane person would ever care to dabble in the PM game.

thats an accurate description of where we are all headed .!   The excesses of Medical Costs,College Costs ,overpaid Government Pensions none of it will be paid off .The printing press will show its ugly head as those that dont produce anything of necessity have maneuvered themselves into positions  of authority ,they will attempt to raise taxes in an economic collapse .We will become Venezuela where inflation is now 1000 % a day and yet the Government is still in Power and Printing money !

Sometimes people are too peacefull even in the FACE of starvation …like the Jews herded into cattle cars ,they tried to maintain their civility and dignity .WHY ?  They had nothing left to lose ! They were too civilized or perhaps too domesticated ,too Socialistic is more fitting .They shared everything, eventually poverty and death too !They lost their will to fight and die for Freedom …NOW they say NEVER AGAIN !  When will Venezuela say NEVER AGAIN !

Obama & Hillary are  leading us down the SAME path Socialism sounds so nice everybody SHARES  until they start sharing the Poverty then it becomes survival of the fittest ! The Stupid ones keep listening to the word processors promises while the rest get out of the country if they can !   ENTER the Stone AGE ..

Puerto Ricans will be the next wave of immigration as they can legally leave  for the States. What say Trump to LEGAL immigration from Puerto Rico !

It kind of reminds me of JIMMY CARTER who told MAO “let your people GO”   !   UNTIL

MAO replied “How many millions do you want 50  ,100 million ?    JIMMY shut Stupid his mouth real FAST  ! POLITICIANS… UGH !

I’m not trying to be argumentative and with all due respect, but I believe we’ve seen this type of action time after time. Silver gets to a threshhold point for TPTB, shares are shorted endlessly ( because what clearing firm is actually going to “call in” shorts on a PM stock; they’re just shorted into infinity), silver drips lower ( below the threshhold point; $20 in this case) and Gold slowly follows.

Thanks for the comeback. I myself have never seen anything like this. Extremely abnormal. PMs were getting tailwinds from higher Dow SnP, and higher Spot Gold and Silver always gave a tailwind. Here we have BOTH. Dow and Bullion higher. Many PMs lower, a few slightly higher.

Nice pop for the Precious courtesy of BOJ decision, but folks that have been in the PM’s for more than a few days probably doubt much of a follow through without other major news. I suspect some are taking some profits before the expected slap down.  It always comes. Always.

Just my opinion. Ok, ok, I pulled it out of my butt. 🙂

Next event on my screen is the Debate Monday night. I wonder how the markets will react on Tuesday morning if their lil Darling Hillary has to be carried off stage ?

It’s called INTEGRITY. Either a person has it or they don’t, and they don’t have it (even if they think they do) unless they treat others as they would want to be treated…. and that means with honesty, kindness, respect, and love…..reaching out a helping hand and giving a little more of yourself than you expect to receive from others. I wish I was innocent of making mistakes and doing the wrong thing but I am not, nor are any of us…..but that is how we learn to be what we are, and what we are is the product of the decisions we make every day in everything we do. Obviously you made some very good choices in your life and were rewarded by your employees when it mattered the most. I salute you sir!!

Ya know I ran a business for 25 years in VA ,and one day some jerk decided he had an oppurtunity to sue me .During the trial each of my 25 employees had depositions taken from them and some were called at the trial to testify since they were on duty during the supposed incident .I doubted that I would come out of it unscathed  since they all had a chance to “get even” if they had a gripe about anything I wasent aware of and the opposition had TWO LAWYERS very skilled at word smithing and concocting scenerario that never happened .One of the Lawyers was planning to retire after this trial so it was his last Harrah !  One by one witnesses were called  each spoke her version as she saw it .At the end of the trial the JUDGE dismissed everything .My two Lawyers said to me “you must have been very good to your employees ” they backed you 100 % .. It was the biggest lesson in Humility I ever had ! They had a chance to “get the BOSS ” if they wanted to but to a person they backed me 100 %  .In one day 25 years of my effort to run the business “right” was repaid by thier Loyalty !  I dont think I can stand more of that  ..(My wife has a different view ).

Payback is a bitch

What does gut instinct have to do with being a successful trader?

Whether you call it a hunch, a sixth sense, or just a gut feeling — new research suggests it’s important to pay attention to it.

A Cambridge University study, published in the the journal Scientific Reports, delves into understanding that gut feeling by focusing on financial traders.

The study suggests stock traders who follow their own gut feelings make more profitable trades, and even have longer careers.

Canadian neuroscientist John Coates is a former Wall Street trader and lead author in the study. He tells The Current’s Anna Maria Tremonti how gut feelings are a physiological response.

“Gut feelings can be in fact information or signals coming up from our body. It could be coming from the gut, the heart, the lungs, the immune system, the muscle tensions — pretty well any tissue in the visceral body.”

The results of Coates’ study suggested traders were much more sensitive to their body than the general population — including experiencing stronger gut feelings.

“Within the cohort of traders we found that [gut instinct] was predicting the relative profitability and strikingly, how long they were surviving in the markets,” says Coates

“So we think the financial markets might be selecting for this trait.”

Coates says that the common cortisol response that traders had to volatility didn’t rely on trading — making or losing money.

“As long as they were just looking at the screens, they had this incredibly powerful physiological reaction to the volatility.”

Coates tells Tremonti the bottom line for this study is to redirect attention from the psychology of high performance to the physiology — even in the workplace.

“We think that the real drivers of high performance aren’t to be found at the psychological level they’re being found to be found deeper down in their physiology.”

200 Million Yahoo User Accounts Hacked

The latest massive data breach, one which may or may not be blamed on Putin, came overnight when ReCode reported that Yahoo is poised to confirm that a hacker has exposed approximately 200 million user accounts.

As Recode adds, while sources were unspecific about the extent of the incursion, since there is the likelihood of government investigations and legal action related to the breach, they noted that it is widespread and serious. According to the source, earlier this summer, Yahoo said it was investigating a data breach in which hackers claimed to have access to 200 million user accounts and was selling them online. “It’s as bad as that,” said one source. “Worse, really.”

The hack became known in August when an infamous cybercriminal named “Peace” said on a website that he was selling credentials of 200 million Yahoo users from 2012 on the dark web for just over $1,800. The data allegedly included user names, easily decrypted passwords, personal information like birth dates and other email addresses.

In the Second Term of the First Black President, Rioting Is the New Normal … Rush limbaugh

Posted by ipso facto @ 9:20 on September 22, 2016

H: It’s a sad observation, folks. I’m telling you, a sad, sad observation but it’s an observation that I don’t think I’m alone in making. It seems like rioting is almost expected now when there is a cop shooting. A cop shooting, period. Don’t care about the details. It seems like it’s now axiomatic that there’s going to be rioting or massive public protests or threats of rioting or threats of unrest every time the cops have to draw their weapons.

Now, stop and think about this. Where are we here? We’re in the United States of America. We are in the second term of the presidency of the first African-American president ever elected in this country, a former community organizer — ah — agitator, organizer, same thing, who promised and assured us, via hope and change, that none of this would survive the presidency. This kind of thing was destined for the ash heap.
