Ain’t no bottom yet or even in the near future.  Silver stocks are screaming to go short or buy puts. I went short with puts and am making money. Maddog went long with NEM and regrets it. We had our rebound rally…now time to buckle up. This down cycle is not mature yet…neither in price nor time. The best that can be hoped for  is that when this one finally bottoms it becomes THE bottom. Maybe, but who knows at this time. Hopium for longs is not going to work right now. Ship going down doesn’t stop until it hits bottom.

Hope so, I’ve thought that too for awhile. The rate hike might just be the bottom. Not sure we’ll finish up today but we might go into rally mode in the next weeks and months.

There was a guy on CNBS yesterday who said the USD has actually fallen after rate hikes historically. One of those times was during the late 70’s

I’ve been reading some about the problems Brazil is having getting ready for the 2016 Olympics. Sounds like it may not be a stellar event. Hard to go first class when the coffers are empty.

For some reason I’m thinking that either way it goes we do OK.

If the FED decision comes in @ 2:00 EST then keep the poll going till 9:00 pm. Give some folks the chance to be right for a change.

So I’m looking at everything higher this am, even silver. No surprise the SM futures are up because they are almost every day, but not sure why silver pm shorts would be covering before the most important Fed meeting in history.

BTW – there was a discussion about most favorite beaten down miners. I like MUX, or almost anything McEwen has his hands on. He’s got to get that stock above $1 before year end to avoid a 10-1 reverse split. Really hoping he can do it.
